The Circus Comes To Town/Long Road Trips

For those that don't know, the next week or two is known as the annual "Circus Trip" for both the Bulls and the Blackhawks. They both have to go on the road while the circus comes into town and takes over the United Center. Now the six game roadie probably doesn't seem like a big deal to most, why should it, just six games right? Especially when you consider that they both have seven and eight game road trips, respectively, later on in the season. But you have to take into account that it is a trip to the West Coast, and considering the time of season it occurs in, it is usually an instrumental trip for both teams when it comes to success. If you have a bad road trip, it could set you back some much needed wins towards the end of the season.

So, for anyone else, do you have your own "Circus Trip"? Maybe your teams have a different name for it, or perhaps it is just the one trip you know is going to suck. Hopefully this can spark some discussion.

I despise going to Livingston and Clyde in the league if thats what you are after [away days that suck ass]

Livingston bought a load of players done well in the Premier League here then fell away badly, their financial shortcomings now sees them in our Third Division.

Clyde are historically our local rivals and since they moved to Cumbernauld it's not been so good, their ground is out in the open and often bitterly cold winds make it an unenjoyable day out.

Thats football for you though, especially here in the lower reaches of Scotland.
