The only reason Cena is the main guy is because he is decent on the mic and appeals to little kids. Cena is nothing special in the ring. None of his best matches are considered to be on the level of CM Punks matches.

No, that is because Cena is a hard worker, he puts on solid matches week in and week out. Cm punk is highly praised by the IWC, even though he is overrated. Their is a reason why he is on the C show, and not the A Show..

Smackdown and ECW tape their shows at the same time if im not mistaken. So the fans are the same, Punk is as over on ECW than he is on Raw or Smackdown. Being over means you put fans in seats because people want o come to see you BTW.

Eugene was over, it doesnt mean he sells. That is two different things. Eugene, like Punk are over or were over, but it doesn't mean they put butts in the seat.

Having a coversation with BRIANBECKERISAGOD is pointless. He dislikes Punk and ROH yet he's never given them an appertunity. He should watch a little then come back and talk about this subject again. Every wrestling show is similar if you look at them properly. He's just more into child friendly products.

Everyone is going to have different taste's but I like CM Punk's work and he is incredibly over regardless of what show he would be one. His Survior Series match in 06 is proof of that. He maybe lost a bit of heat because they took so long to have him beat Morrison for the title but that isn't nothing to do with him its just the booking.

After Smackdown wouldn't mind seeing Punk v Edge on a PPV but with Edge's more than likely date with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania may have to wait awhile for that.

^^^^ I know what you are saying for the most part, but people say he is very over, and yesterday night during his entrance it seemed like he came out too the sound of crickets. Rey's entrance blew Punks out of the building, so did takers, and edge's and for peeps sake, it sounded like Wang Yang and Moore got a better crowd reaction...

So i dont buy that over stuff. i dont watch ECW anymore, so i really dont see his work, I have watched him on PPV sometimes, and i believe he is vastly overrated.. I wish he had has feud with Benoit, Benoit would have taken him too school and back, while teaching Punk a thing or three.

If he has the paitence to stick with the company for awhile he will be in the postion in which Edge is in at the moment he just gotta take it slow and will be the guy they rely on when they are in trouble and be entertaining he has the potential but gotta realise it.

Alright, but in the IWC he is highly praised. people make him out to be like G-Ds gift to wrestling, but i don't see that. I was never an Edge fan, because i was always down with the "Peeps".

Now back to Edge, I don't see the comparison with Punk, I think Edge is better than him in mostly every aspect of professional wrestling.

Edge is probably WWE's best heel, Punk is nowhere close as the biggest heel or face.

We all are entitled to an opinion, but i just don't see how Punk is good? His mic works bores me, his in ring work bores me, maybe his style of wrestling doesn't mesh with the WWE's style of wrestling, but i don't know...
