Several sources have confirmed that Andrew "Test" Martin is finished with TNA.

Martin never officially signed a deal with the company and was sent home from his first TV Taping after the Hard Justice pay-per-view where he teamed with Abyss and Sting. Some say he didn't "mesh" well backstage in the locker room. Martin was released from WWE this past February after being suspended 30 days for violating the Wellness Policy.

If this indeed is true, I'm glad, even though I believe it's smart to do contracts before bringing in a star. Test doesn't need TNA & TNA doesn't need Test. At least he won't be taking up room with a spotlight that can be given to an actual rising star and the reputation could be bad for TNA to sign someone who wanted out of a WWE contract due to being held back because he had heat for failing a drug test & passed positive for steroids, especially with all that's going on in the industry right now. Smart move.

Out of all of the people TNA had signed, this was the one I was worried about the most. Unlike others, I'm not too quick to brand the WWE Reject label on everyone.

Test was an idiot. Obviously he's juicing to hell and back, and he went out publically defending his stance on steroids. Hmmm, not too smart of a thing to do when Congress is sniffing around on the subject. Plus, TNA asked him to tone down, and who knows how that went.

This won't be a loss.

good ridance, test was like the opposite of christian cage, while both came from WWE cage rocks and test just sucked

It's a good thing that he's gone. A bad performer, bad wresler and it's so obvious that he was on steroids that he would be sending a bad message to everyone.
This gap in the roster will only help the better talent that TNA have to move up the ranks. How would you feel if you were a wrestler of the caliber of Christopher Daniels, Homicide or Alex Shelley and you are told that you aren't going to be on TV because they want to do an angle with Test? I'd quit on the spot!

I for one find this incredibly funny. I mean, the guy debuted with a crap gimmick.. "The Punisher?" And he looked extremely bad, I can't explain how.. but during the Chamber of Blood match, when he came out.. he was just.. bulky, maybe? I swear, I can't put my finger on it.. but he looked completely different & it wasn't a good thing.

Secondly, during that match.. he completely sucked. It was like the layoff he had from the W.W.E. to T.N.A. he completely forgot anything wrestling related.

Andrew "Test/Punisher" Martin won't be missed in T.N.A... furthermore, anyone who missed a month or so of T.N.A. won't even realize he was ever there. I couldn't of seen him being anything more than something similar to Tomko, only face. And I definately couldn't see them giving him a Championship to run with. Then again.. who knows what true plans they had in mind for him.

In my final thought on the subject.. had he not opened his mouth regarding what someone else stated, about him babbling on about steroids.. & had he not returned to wrestling looking, bulky? (I swear, I just can't explain what I'm really looking to say, bulky is the only thing I can find) Who ultimately knows what T.N.A. had planned for him.. but thankfully, it looks like it won't be anything, anymore.

Woo. That was close. One PPV with Test. I can live with that. Unlike Shockmaster I'm more than willing to lable superstars that WWE no longer wanted/needed as rejects. Along with Matt Morgan & Goldust, Test was one of those WTF are you thinking hirings. If Test was going to be a superstar then he would have been in 1999 when Shane McMahon of all people tried to give him the rub. I just thank god he got fired before the Benoit murders otherwise we might have seen him as ECW Champ.

I for one was getting a little worried when I saw Test on TNA but lucjily it was only it was short lived.

All I could think was "Who they gonna sign next Al Snow...The Godfather?!" I mean come on enough with wasting money on old WWE mid carders Test was never much of an entertaining guy other than when he and Steiner feuded for awhile. Other than that he just looked like a buck toothed loser with incredibly medicated muscles. Good riddance ass clown.

I hope he is done with TNA. He didn't look too good in the ring and he kinda looked out of it. When he was with ECW, he looked better. In TNA he looked out of place and didn't really fit in with the company.
