You may vote to sub out one or two of the current participants for either alternate. You may also vote to keep the team as it is currently constructed. Voting will be open for 3 days. You may vote for more than one choice, but obviously you should not vote for more than one option, since you are only voting to sub out or in a max of two people!

I just want to throw one idea out there. Lance Storm is clearly this team's weak link (which is sick that he's a weak link anywhere, shows you how good this team is), and you have a chance to sub him out and bring in Christian to put Edge and Christian in the Tag Team event. E&C have, I believe, made at least the semi finals of the last 3 Tag Tournaments here, and that's against other LEGIT teams like Harlem Heat and the Steiner Bros. Here, the only other legit team I can think of them facing might be the Bushwhackers. How Edge & Christian wouldn't be prohibitive favoirtes for the Tag Team Gold Medals would be beyond me.

Ya, this one seems rather obvious here. When you have the chance to have a bonafide tag team added on to your roster, you have to do it. I actually thought Christian should have been on the team ahead of Storm in the first place.

Not sure how the rest of the events will play out though. Probably Jericho in Ultimate X and Benoit in Elevation X, or vice versa. Probably Hart in the KOTM.

As much as I hate saying this.. Christian would be a much more acceptable choice than Lance Storm, as even though I don't think Christian is as good as Storm - he's more "over" to others and thus likely to get votes. (yeah, I said it)

Truth is, when looking at the events up-coming. You have a couple decisions to make.

Edge and Christian in the Tag Team Tournament almost would seemingly be a strong lock to win it all.. Christian has also won a Battle Royal in the past, (to gain the Intercontinental title) for what thats worth.

Still, Chris Benoit and Edge have been Tag Team Champions, and Lance Storm isn't exactly a slob when it comes to being a Tag Team specialist, either.

I think Christian in and Storm out is the logical choice. However, there are some pretty interesting decisions to be made for matchups for team Canada.

Most will automatically jump to Edge and Christian as the tag team of choice. However, there are a few legit teams that could come out of this combo. Jericho/Christian, Jericho/Edge, Edge/Benoit, and Jericho/Benoit are all options that have all been Tag Team champions at one point in time or another.

I think that Bret is a lock for King of the Mountain, as he is the most well rounded guy on the team, with a ladder match victory under his belt as well.

This leaves 4 guys for 3 matches. I don't know who I'd pick to be in Ultimate or Elevation X, but regardless of who is chosen, subbing in Christian for Storm yields a solid tag team no matter what.

It's also worth mentioning that Jericho and Storm were a successful tag team in Smokey Mountain Wrestling called "The Thrillseekers." But they had no where NEAR the success that Edge & Christian had. If you let E&C in the tag tourney, it's a good shot at Gold for Canada. If it's Jericho and Storm, it's a dogfight.

Here is the true situation that needs to be addressed for Team Canada.

Can we afford to not put Edge in the King of the Mountain match? Edge has the most experience in ladder match situations, and clearly should be the best favorite out of Team Canada for that.

As far as the Tag team tournament goes - while Edge and Christian will no doubt be hard to beat due to their real life tandem.. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho, albeit a shorter time together, impacted the tag team division in an almost similar way.

They were big enough to take down Triple H and Steve Austin! Edge and Christian have taken down the Undertaker and the Rock. So when comparing with those two situations, who would have the bigger impact in the tag team scene?

Oddly enough.. go with E&C in hopes of people just voting out of name base firstly, and accomplishments second. Go with Jericho and Benoit, because they have more of an overall ability to be great at forming up against the bigger named duos. (like an Austin/Michaels, or even Hogan/whoever, for example)

I think people would argue too much that Edge and Christian couldn't have enough to stop Hogan. Whereas Jericho & Benoit may be a different story.

Canada has a lot of people able to go in the Ladder Match. Bret Hart was the inventor of the match in Stampede Wrestling, where he went on to win every single match that the company ever had. Benoit is also good in Ladder Matches, winning a TLC match before. But as long as Jericho is there, he is the King of Ladder matches.

So I want Christian in to tag with Edge. That is an assured Gold, they are the best tag team everr, followed by Bret's own Tag team, so that will not be a problem.

So, assuming that Edge is put in the King of the Mountain, with Jericho and Benoit as the Tag Team, where does that leave Christian and Bret?

I could easily make a case for Christian in Ultimate or Elevation X, but Bret? He is best on the mat and should remain there. King of the Mountain gives Bret the opportunity to use in-ring psychology to his advantage, where both Ultimate and Elevation X favor the spot-monkeys.

I wouldn't say to vote out Bret at all, as he is necessary for the Battle Royal, but the strategy of Edge in King of the Mountain might need to be looked over again.

christian cant be in two things for your thing to work bret hart would either be in the tag team or in the elevation x also that comment about benoit is very rude he was a great wrestler and he deserves to be on the team

i agrre with checkmate bret would need to be in either tag team or kotm because he would be more likely to get a medal in them
