Terminating @TheTarynTerrell as ref may be the best decision I've made. Now she can whip these girls into shape with a "hands on" approach.

Frankly, I know very little about Terrell. I've never seen her wrestle before, but she pulls off a decent spear, and she's new blood in a division that's been begging for it for a while now. Plus — fuck it — she's hot.

 

[Lowdown]

I'll agree the spear is decent enough. But I never sampled how the rest of her repertoire is in the ring. Truthfully though, the KO's are kinda lagging in the heel department. I can see Taryn against Gail and Tara, but I'm kinda interested in seeing her against Mickie.

She's quite good in the ring. She's a little rusty if you watch her few matches in OVW (however they were a few months ago and she's started training two months after joining the company) she was looking a little green. But her matches in WWE were pretty good. Just search Tiffany vs to see a few of them on YouTube.

She started off as the GM in WWECW, but transitioned into a wrestling spot on Smackdown as Tiffany, where she wrestled for about 6 months before getting arrested for beating the hell out of her husband, current WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre. She was suspended and eventually released by WWE, and transitioned into acting a bit. She had a bit part in the Will Ferrell movie The Campaign, where she bangs Ferrell's character in a port-a-john. That scene alone was worth seeing the flick.

Can she wrestle? Meh, she's athletic and strong, and her match against Layla isn't bad. Her execution of moves is fair, albeit somewhat labored.She's always had the good spear, back to when she was a GM, and hit a ferocious one on Rosa Mendes in a pants suit and high heels. She spent a decent amount of time in WWE developmental, and has been training in OVW since she signed with TNA, so she's likely made strides in the ring. Being in there with a steady hand like Gail won't hurt.

Bottom line: WWE's loss is TNA's gain. I'm going to miss her in those stripes and tight black shorts, but if she adopts the cheerleader outfit again, I won't complain.

Anyway, I'm sure she'll be fine. I mean look at her. All that stuff bouncing around the ring... and getting sweaty. Sheesh. I've give TNA at least a 0.1 ratings bump if she wrestled on a regular basis.

At this point anything new, regardless of how bad they be, to the division is an improvement. For Christ's sake, every Knockout is a former champion. There is nothing that can be done with that batch that would seem fresh. Taryn, is fresh. And hot.

I assume this was the plan all along anyway, right? Its a strange idea hiring a wrestler just to referee! New blood and new match-ups are always a good thing though, and there are certanly less talented women out there! Go team!

I think LSN8o pretty much summed it her history.

When she was in WWE, she was okay. Not exactly the stuff of legend but she's no worse than Velvet Sky. Sky isn't horrible, but she's certainly not great and her sex appeal more than makes up for that most of the time.

She's not going to bring anything revolutionary to the KO Division or anything. She's another hot girl that'll be in a skin tight and/or skimpy outfit. But she'll be a new girl in a skin tight and/or skimpy outfit, so that's a temporary gain out of it if nothing else.

I was a fan of the concept of a hot female knockouts ref only because it helps stop a man I have a great amount of respect for, Earl Hebner, seem like a sleezeball. Plus I think she is the hottest of the knockouts and the hottest female wrestler/personality ever. Seriously check out her old WWE July 4th red and blue photo shoot. If they sold that as a poster I would have bought it in a heart beat. So seeing her guaranteed every week was a bonus.

With Madison Rayne being out for at least another 8 months due to her pregnancy TNA is hurting in heel female wrestlers... they have Tara, Kim.... while the faces now have Tess, Velvet, Mickie, Taryn, and I assume Taeler Hendrix when she makes her return to the company since Gut Check. If they truly want to breathe new life into the division they need to bring in fresh heels for the company.

However let's now focus on Taryn herself. Her wrestling ability from what i can remember was average... not great, not horrible. Where does she fit in the company, right now the company is pushing Velvet and Tess as the #1 and #2 KO's so does this make her #3. Given how there are only 2 heels currently on the roster where does she go after this short feud with Gail (and no I do not believe it will last all the way to Slammiversary like one person predicted. I wouldn't be shocked to see it end next week on Impact.) But PLEASE no more spears for divas/knockouts. That finishing move has been done to death. That move for women has been done to death. I get that it's a move that can be put on anyone without much technical skills needed but just END IT. Come up with something new. A kick for god's sake would be better.

Referees-wrestlers are usualy brought in for a storyline to be done down the line but I figure it was something TNA wanted to innovate at: having a woman referee and it was different. I'm just worried that when Taryn is gonna switch to wrestlers, she's gonna be treated like just another Knockouts and will be forgotten quickly. As a referee she was there on every women matchs and I liked seeing her sweet body.

I'm ONLY guessing that we ''COULD'' and I say ''COULD'' possibly see Taryn Terrell Wrestle from now up until Wednesday 29th May 2013 TNA Live Event.
then on Impact Wrestling 30th May 2013 Episode you'll see Brooke Hogan announce that she has Stepped Down from her ''Executive VP Of The KnockOuts'' Role and that her Replacement & New ''Executive Of The KnockOuts'' will be Taryn Terrell that way it sets up a new feud for Her & Gail Kim in that Taryn Terrell makes Gail Kim's life a living hell for Gail Kim pushing her around for so long.{but again this is ONLY a GUESS.}

With Taryn finally signing on as a knockout, my question is, who will replace her as the ref for the knockouts division? IMO, TNA should replace her with another attractive female ref for the knockouts division permanently!

Who couldn't see this coming a mile away? I even made a thread on it awhile back. As much as I'm curious to see what her ring gear will be, I actually liked how TNA had a female referee for the KO division. Oh well. Everyone say hello to your eventual KO Champion, Taryn Terrell.
