I understand what you mean, but for me, a relationship can only be more than acquaintance if it's done in person. There are members on this forum that I trust with forum matters, there are members on this forum I enjoy discussing with more than others...but the fact is I only care about their forum persona, not the person they are.

But it does work both ways. While it may not breed friendship, it also doesn't breed enemies, at least in my mind. There are posters on the forum I have butted heads with numerous times, but while I may not enjoy their posts, I don't have anything against them personally.
