Talk to Spidey Thread

Literary characters ironically enough. Dorian Gray, Renfield, and Mr. Hyde play into his psyche. Milton and Shakespeare also made me think up the character.

Lot of people don't think Bayley's Bayley to Belly is a good finisher. Before she used it, it wasn't the type of move that was known for ending a match. I can see why some don't care much for it. Maybe she needs to raise the bar. So what if she used the Bayley to Belly as a signature- something to set up an even bigger move.

Perhaps add a Frogsplash to her arsenal. Plucky face hitting that move has always got the crowd jumping.

You could call it

The Bayleyflop.

Eh?

Rank Star Wars movies least to greatest. (Due to both of our RPs having SW references this round)

I like movie references, but to be honest I'm not a huge SW fan. I blame this mostly on a shitty stepdad who would watch it ad nauseum. That said, I've watched every Star Wars movie and I'd be more than happy to share my list.

  • The Star Wars Christmas Special - We know why.
  • The Clone Wars - This was a movie.
  • Attack of the Clones - Anakin's dialogue/acting was lame. Yoda was cool though.
  • The Phantom Menace - Jar Jar. I liked Qui Gon Jinn and the podrace. Missed potential with Sebulba as a reoccurring villain I think.
  • Return of the Jedi - Everything was okay but I hated the teddy bears.
  • Revenge of the Sith - Excellent musical score at least.
  • A New Hope - Good spaghetti westernesque flick. Luke's as whiny as his dad.
  • The Force Awakens - Pretty much the same thing as New Hope but the main protagonist isn't as whiny.
  • Empire Strikes Back - First movie I ever watched where the bad guys win in the end. Lando, Boba Fett, and the Emperor were pretty cool. Not much I hate about this movie.

Annie's heel turn involved choking out his wife and slicing through children. I can respect that.

I can respect that. For what it's worth, I honestly don't hate the new trilogy. Sure, some of the acting and dialogue is awful...I hate sand...but they get a lot of unjust hate.

I've never seen the Christmas one. If it's as bad as has been said in here I'll keep it that way. I'm in the minority and well aware of that, but I do not like Empire as much as Jedi or the original. I despise cliffhanger endings in movies. The ending always ticked me off as a kid and that still drops it to last out of the first trilogy. The 2000's trilogy I fully get the hate it receives. I blame Jar Jar. Phantom Menace is the worst in the series for me. Other than the Darth Maul fight, I don't like anything in that one. Episode 3 is good. I really liked the new one from last year so I'm looking forward to all the new stuff. On a semi-related note.... the Family Guy parodies of Star Wars' original trilogy are some of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Oh if Blue Harvest and the rest count, they're in the top 3 for me. Robot Chicken must contend with A New Hope.

I remember once back in 2008 or so, a bunch of us at my college watched episode 4 right after half of us had just watched Blue Harvest. The other half had no clue why we were seemingly randomly bursting into laughter and our random jokes made no sense to them thus making it even funnier for us.

Worst : Phantom Menace- Keep the pod race, erase everything else. Just a major let down top to bottom. So pissed when I first watched it. Jar Jar Binks.

Attack of the Clones - Exciting last twenty minutes couldn't save the long boring, awkward love story going on with the cheesiest shit lines in all of Sci-Fi.

Revenge of the Sith - A lot of action compared to the last outing. Fantastic final moments and set ups for the original trilogy.

Force Awakens - It was good, but nothing mind blowing about it. Borrowed heavily off of New Hope, a little TOO heavily. Finding the Falcon and the following chase was my favorite part.

A New Hope - The one that started it all, I must have watched it 50 times as a kid, pure love for the movie.

The Return of the Jedi - Watching it now is nothing special, as a kid it blew my mind. I came out of the theatre gobsmacked, especially after - It's a trap!- and the entire legion of fighters clashing in space and the triple climax ending. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that crazy space battle.

The Empire Strikes Back -

I hated Empire the first time I watched it as a kid. I didn't like that the bad guys won and hated the idea of it. Then I watched it again, and again, and again. It's one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever made. The whole chase between The Empire and The Falcon throughout the middle of the film only to use Han Solo to draw in Luke Skywalker is brilliant. The scene at the dinner table and Han shoots a laser at Vader and he casually blocks it and takes his blaster away, the Imperial March churning with every Empire sighting, the Hoth battle and Luke vs Vader. Grand!

I need to give credit where credit is due.

Following the snake to Xaitlyn was Kap's idea. He wanted creepy so I did it where I could without changing the core of what I wanted to achieve.

Now to give myself props the dialogue was all me. A lot of shows that have characters with English as a second language (NCIS & Ziva popped into my head first) don't use contractions so I used the same idea here. I'm glad it worked too. Aside from my character and any NPC I had I've never written another character in an RP.

As for down playing the potential fatherhood I'm trying to make it a gradual thing with the Payoff being at K.C.
