Talk to Spidey Thread

Ok Spidey what are your thoughts on Bowser's Inside Story? :p

Also, thoughts on the newest Misfit, Kellia?

I don't play many games sadly. I have not played Bowser's Inside Story. Am curious though. Love to see how that kind of game goes.

I adore Kellia's broken English/Common. Don't miss Kayrentia and feel you can get a lot of good humorous moments with Kellia.

Did you play any of the Mario RPG games? Bowser's Inside Story is a Mario RPG but in a crazy twist, Bowser is the main character of it! If you've got a DS go grab a copy of it.

Glad you like her. She is a tribute an Elven Summoner from a campaign that just ended this summer. I played a nearly identical character who had the same gimmick. She was popular within my D&D 3.5 group, so they were pleased to hear another version of her is now in the RP's. Trivial note, Kellia and Theron are the only Misfits based off characters I've created in D&D. Kirilah was inspired by a Paladin I've played but I inherited the character she was based on from another handler.

The old Seven Stars or whatever it was called. I enjoyed that one. I have no DS. I'm really more of a PC/Phone player. And I'm a broke college student and that ain't helpin til I get some precious scholarships in next semester.

Then I'm sure you caught the pun in Gino's Theronism. ;)

I hear you though. Tuition was rough on me this semester too.

Do you think that WCWF owner has joined the WWE creative?

Reference: Hell In A Cell climax.

I haven't looked at the WCWF thing in a long time. He keeps it going, I'll give him that, but I just find it very repetitive. Then again WWE does the same thing so...probably.

Is Batti a fan of Babymetal? I feel like she would be.

Batti Otaku is the very spirit of fan-obsession to me. I enjoy Babymetal, and I can definitely see Batti rocking out to it and talking about it Ad Nauseam. That and she's cutesy and terrifying to me when I write her. Kinda like Babymetal.

My dreams of seeing Babymetal live in concert got crushed when our metal festival line-up got announced yesterday. I blame Batti for kidnapping them for her own personal concert... but I still get to see Nightwish live so I'm still pretty content.

Why the name Batti Otaku?

Batti because she's bat-shit insane, and it's kind of an old spoof on the "Boxxi" meme.

Otaku is Japanese for people who are obsessed with their interests.

Writing is really my biggest hobby. I enjoy a good party filled with vodka shots and talk of literature, too.

Speaking of, just got done with a Devil's Night party I hosted on my dorm. I didn't get any good pics. In fact I didn't remember until I was tripping over myself shitfaced that I said I'd take pics. Sad I didn't get a good one. But it was fun. Mound of candy on the counter and my gremlin plushy my gf gave me rested on it like a king. Played games and had about 30 people in there at one time, which I don't think is too bad for my first event.

I surround myself with colorful people. You'd be surprised how quickly one starts talking about Poe's work drunk on Halloween. :P Or maybe this just happens to me.

This is college

I can relate! It's fun talking literature when drunk. In fact, some of the best discussions I have had were while being completely drunk.

And so many new ideas! Only I don't remember them when sober:laugh:

Mine too. Except talking about it with my coworkers on site can be awkward. My coworker asked me what my hobbies were one day while we were using a jackhammer to bust out a bunch of concrete to expose a water pipe and I was like... uh... I like to write about fantasy pro wrestling.

As if merely watching pro wrestling in this day and age wasn't enough. No! I take the weirdness scale up to ten by saying I like writing about fantasy wrestling where I pretend to be a make believe character.

But on the flip side, my education in wrestling history helps because I can engage most of the older guys on the site who watched wrestling as boys before it became sports entertainment.

Main reason why I still enjoy wrestling is because of the vast amount of different characters. I see WWE like a giant storybook. Yeah, most of the time I think the plot sucks but the characters do keep it going. Lot of people like to point out how bland certain wrestler's gimmicks are, but here and there I do see some changes that I know without a shadow of a doubt they would not have done a year or so ago. John Cena is stale, I agree, but he isn't boring. He keeps the plot going very well for what he symbolizes.

Kane/Taker is by far the best example of round characters that aren't anything like how they started. Same for Triple H. They keep one aspect about them at all times, but they evolve. Gotta love that shit. That's how a written character should be.

I ranted. XD

Ah, so it's like Fairy Tail.

That's a very fair comparison, actually.

Yeah. I'm pretty much to that point when it comes to the WWE. FT in itself has some amazing characters. Though the writing in the last arc and current one has been pretty good. And the Mavis special I thought had really good writing.
