Fuck you Spidey

I had a lot of fun writing that match, but Ramparte was certainly the highlight. Great moveset, great character. Interested to see how the trio continues to implode and see how it all unfolds before KC.

Fuck her if she doesn't accept.

I see what you did there ;)

I've had midterms all day. I will get NSL and anyone else that gave me feedback feedback in return tomorrow. If not then throw tomatoes at me here and in my Q&A Thread until I do.

This thread gets the orange palette swap of the Earthbound tomato enemies.... here they come!

Well the Foppies and Fobbies are back, they are wondering where the feedback is. Looks like they brought a friend too, probably some other funny enemy from that game who OH MY GOSH NO IT'S THE GHOST OF STARMAN!!!! EVERYONE RUN!!!!

Better get that feedback up or else he's casting Starstorm Omega!

Ok in all seriousness I actually did have a question for you given our Earthbound nostalgia. What was your favorite event in that game?

So have you ever played Super Paper Mario for the Wii? It's awesome. One of the best Mario games I've ever played.

No. But I've played other Mario games on the Wii. Don't have the console, but I have friends who are avid gamers.

No but I have it saved on my Netflix. Will get back to you when I watch it, though.

Love horror movies/stories. Often disregarded for some shit reason. I've been hellaciously busy with midterms but I'll see Case 39 if I can this weekend.

God it's been so long. Giygas? Also remember laughing my ass off the first time I had to fight a Spiteful Crow. You ever want to take a look at what the 90s were all about, that character is it.

If we're reminiscing about Earthbound enemies that conversation starts and stops with the New Age Retro Hippie. My favorite part was the Fire Spring "Your Sanctuary". You already had the task of getting through the Lost Underworld then by the time you finally reach the volcanic temple you have to deal with Soul Consuming Flames and Major Psychic Psychos who were super tough for a Ness who still hadn't gotten the big stat boost from the Magicant event yet. Last but not least it had the game's toughest boss, Diamond Dog in his two forms at the summit. I also liked the return to Onett at the end when swarms of The Ghost Of Starman are all over town, best levelling spot in the end-game.

Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. If you don't have them, go get a Wii just to play those.

I've played both. And while 2 really is a great game, I've enjoyed Super Paper Mario the most.

I liked the first two Paper Mario's better myself. In-character Theron loves Thousand Year Door. Out-of-character I like the original best. 2nd only to Bowser's Inside Story for Mario RPG titles.

The reason why I picked it up is that I am tired of the same formulaic Mario games. Meaning Bowser kidnaps Peach and Mario has to go defeat Bowser and rescue her. So anything that deviates from that catches my eye. So any game that has Peach available as a playable character and it isn't a party, sport, or kart game I put it on my "to buy" list. But any game that has Bowser as a playable character and it isn't a party, sport, or kart game becomes a top priority.

Then you need to get Bowser's Inside Story immediately if you haven't played it. Bowser's more or less the hero in that one. It's also bar none the best Mario RPG.
