Getting Noticed By Management
Just wanted to play a little game.

If every single wrestler in the wrestling world (past and present) was a free agent, who would you like to see TNA go after. Make a choice and explain why, including reasons why you would personally like to see them, what they could offer TNA, and why you think it would help TNA grow and attract a larger audience. I don't want to be an influence, so I'm gonna keep this open ended and not suggest anyone myself.

Cheers guys. Have fun with it.

If it can be someone hurt, then Bret Hart. He has the wrestling skills to fit TNA's style, and the star power to deliver new fans.

If they can't be hurt, Chavo Guerrero. In TNA he wouldn't be stuck in a feud over his passed uncle. He would be allowed to wrestle his style, not punches. Chavo Guerrero & Rey Mysterio in a brawl? On Smackdown that was a terrible match. Chavo has some star power, and he could carry on Eddie's gimmick of cheat to win, without actually saying "Eddie this for you". He could be another example of a WWE reject turned into a superstar, following Raven, Rhino and Christain Cage

The Rock

one of the most popular wrestlers of all time...can be plugged in with just about anybody and get an entertaining program out of them...been a few years since he has been on the scene, so it would be refreshing to see him...has TONS of mainstream cred to bring in the viewers...

just imagine his mic work, totally making shit of Jarrett, he could help get Samoa Joe over even more, or could make fun of how fat he is...anything...he has an endless supply of targets for "whats your name son... it doesnt matter what your name is"...he could get at least possibly one "dream match" with Sting...verbal wars with Christian would be classic...

i think he, more than ANYBODY else, would be THE ideal free agent to bank on to grow as a company

Oh man, the choices I would make...

Rey Mysterio. Let him wrestle the way he knows how. Mysterio vs Styles...that would be an awesome match...

Benoit, Angle...The Rock for his mic skills...thats about it from the WWE side of things...

Brian Danielson, Colt Cabana, and KENTA would make great additions...

^^^^^ Tha would Own Mr. Krinkle....... I'd have to say Jack Evanz...... Even tho i have hardly seen any of his matches tha ones i've seen with Generation Next in Ring Of Hounor we awesome....... I think he'd bring some really awesome fueds to tha X Division & Tag Team Division....... Fueds with Sabin, Styles, Daniels, Austin Starr, Samoa Joe, Senshi, Petey William & Sonjay Dutt would make some classic X Division matches....... With someone like him in tha X Division i can see him becoming a huge name in TNA......

Kenta Kobashi... best inring performer ever in my oppinion
someone like KANE!!!! to feud with Abyss and maybe Joe.
Undertaker to feud with Sting...
The Rock of course for what was said above...
and last but not least...
John Cena, so we can see his ass get beat by much better talent every day.

Brock Lesnar and Hulk could be a big draw. Also Kurt Angle and Goldberg

I think Jericho would kick ass in TNA. I personally don't like him, but I can't front on the man's skills. TNA is good for mid-sized brawlers with good techinical ability, like the old NWA. Jarret needs to go home. He's a scrub.

And by my avatar you can see I love The Rock, but I'm pretty sure he ain't wrestling anymore.

Triple H. Do you know how much ratings that would give TNA if they somehow managed to steal the boss's son in law.

I know this is supposed to be just opinions on who would be a dream TNA acquisition (sseing as how I started the thread, lol) but I had to respond to this.

LM 'fuckin' AO. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Fair enough I've had thoughts about that, but for someone to actually write it, that is the funniest shit ever.

I think Rey Mysterio would be great. He would take the X-division to higher levels along with AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels.

I would pick The Rock. My reasons being the same as what Mr. Krinkle said. He's simply the man. Best on the mic of all time, has great mainstream exposure, all that stuff.

Next pick would have been Jericho, but he was mentioned as well. Then Kane.

So, for the sake of being different, my pick would be Carlito. I think he it would be pretty awesome to see him in TNA with his current gimmick. It would give TNA a little more flavor. He has a great character, pretty good mic skills, he's an excellent wrestler, and could put on great feuds with many of the TNA wrestlers.

Plus, Carlito's just cool.

If this were who I'd choose that could still go there, I'd start with Benoit and Booker T. They were the premiere mid-carders of any company in the late nineties and have had to wrestle the boring, Stamford Style for a while now. I'd like to see a last run by both men that is worthy of their talents and doesn't see shackles placed on their in-ring creativity. I remember watching their best of seven series in '98 and being entertained in EVERY one of the matches. For a dark horse choice, I'd go with Mysterio. He was X-division before there was an X-division, so I'd find it amazing to see him mix it up with the young guns like Sabin, Williams, Dutt, Lethal, and Low Ki. And instead of the horribly watered-down arsenal he uses these days, let him return to his ECW/WCW style that left your jaw on the floor. If I could choose from the international scene, then I'd go with American Dragon or Kaz Hayashi.
