Summerslam - The Great Khali vs. Kane

I want Kane to win plain and simple, then maybe this feud can end. Kane has lost nearly every time he has faced Khali, so I would like him to pick up a victory here. I would hope this feud ends after this as I feel Kane could be more useful doing other things on Smackdown than being involved with Khali. Kane has done the job for Khali numerous times so now I would like to see the favour returned then Kane can move on with a bit of luck. As for the match itself...well I don't think it's going to be a classic! Khali serves his purpose as a comedic character or whatever but it's hard for anyone to have a good match with the man...Ziggler made a good stab at it but meh.

sounds like filler to me. assuming Punk/Hardy will go 25-30mins id rather drop this match and see them go 35-40mins instead.

I agree, I think that Kane is the only logical choice to win this match. Every time they've faced each other, The Great Khali has always been victorious, besides that one time he got himself disqualified for keeping Kane in the Vice Grip beyond Jim Korderas' 5 count. The only difference from their past matches, and this one is... now Khali is the face and Kane is the heel. It doesn't matter to me, as I'll pull for Kane to win in nearly all his matches.
As far as the winner. Khali hasn't lost any of his matches since The Bash. Kane has only been involved in four matches since then (three victories, one DQ). It seems that Khali has Kane's number, while Kane might have the pyschological advantage after his attack on Ranjin Singh and Khali, himself. Hard to choose actually, but knowing WWE, Kane will likely lose. But, I won't put down a full prediction, until I watch this week's Smackdown.

i dont understand why the creative team put them in another feud i mean their feud prior to WM23 sucked & the match sucked even more.
This time around the feud is kind of getting interesting because of kane holding ranjin hostage, but the match at summerslam will still suck & itll go about 5-6 minutes but this time hopefully kane gets the win & their feud ends cuz kane deserves alot better than this (ive said that to every wrestler who was ever placed in a feud with khali)

I hope they get booed out of the ring because their match at WM23 sucked, everything about their feud then sucked, it sucks now, and it is always going to suck. Khali is not agile in the ring at all. Kane is on the downslope of his career. The only way this match will be good is if for some reason, Taker returns during it, takes them both out, sets up a match for some other PPV, and Taker destroys them in a 3-way inferno match or something. Kane/Khali... ugh... just stop.

I bet Kane will get the win but the real loser is all us fans who have to put up with this BS feud time and time again. If you can't find any thing to do with Khali, FIRE HIM.... he is the most useless wrestler I've ever seen outside of maybe Giant Gonzalez.
Personally, Kane hasn't done anything at resembling mildly entertaining since he set JR on fire and lost his mask to Triple. They had the chance of putting the mask back on the Big Red Job Machine, but they blew it. In my mind, this is a candidate already for worst match of the year.
Khali is just awful and personally I'm hoping they cut their losses w/ this Punjabi turd ASAP. Kane has paid his dues, and should never be released, but hopefully he'll retire soon.

Here's the funny thing about all of this: If Khali had just called he police and reported his "brother" or "translator" or "handler" or whatever the fuck Singh is kidnapped, the police could have stepped in, arrested Kane, and we wouldn't have to be subjected to this match. Obviously, I'm kidding about the real-life, but you get what I mean.

Seriously it is a filler because Creative team doesn t know what to do or shall I say the people that book these matches a sequel to WM24 we see this vice versa again as Khali punjabi playboy vs kandy kane seriously I would rather see Rey Mysterio Jr and Khali team up against Jericho and Big Slow even though this match happened in a house show !! Summers***t won't be so good this year expect Jeff Hardy to lose to CM Punk and expect Ziggler to beat Rey Mysterio for the IC Title!! Randy Orton will retain the title and even that is boring it is the same old matches recycled and redone vice versa since Mc Moron has no talent left anymore! I recall the tag team Cena did was redone 3 times first with HHH and then Batista!! Now Orton? what the hell is this?

This is probably the match I'm least looking forward to. Khali has always been horrible in the ring and Kane has been awkward for a while, I definitely can't see them having a good match. They're too similar - big guys who don't do all that much. Both have had good matches with other wrestlers, but together this is asking for a disaster.

I think Kane needs to win this match. Smackdown needs a big heel in the singles picture. Jericho is carrying the tag division, ziggler is having a good feud with Rey, and CM Punk is doing good with hardy. Kane needs to win this match so he can feud with the top faces in really high profile ppv matches.
I think you're all missing the point of this match, which I'd bet my left shoe is Taker's return. With the tag team division getting stacked with mega teams, i.e., Jerishow, DX, and Hardys, it's only pure logic that states the Brothers of Destruction are headed for a return as well - though whether as a tag team or for a feud, it's unclear.
I realize the situation is complicated, but the elements are all there. Khali and Singh are revealed as brothers, and Kane goes on a rant about how Singh felt growing up in the shadow of his brother. Hey, who else has a brother? Who he's always been jealous of, and hated for it? Oh, yeah, that Kane character. If that doesn't scream "Undertaker", then I don't know what does.
So what's going to happen here? Either Taker's direct interference or one of his patented "lights out, creepy tron" moments. It could be to distract Kane so Khali wins, and sparking the Kane/Taker feud, which will, as always, center on Kane hating Taker for being a nasty brother, and such. I doubt we're looking at a long term feud, just something quick to get Undertaker back in the game while the current main event settles down.
The alternative is their reunion as a tag team, with Undertaker distracting Khali somehow. This works on several levels, considering Taker and Khali have a running feud, and interfering to protect his brother would make some sense. The problem here is that Kane is playing the heel, but really, no one's going to boo Taker. He's worked as a tweener in half his recent feuds, anyway - vs Batista and vs HBK, off the top of my head. well i dont really like this feud .but i think kane is gonna win with the help of ranjin sin. i can see a heel turn for him. it kind of looks like that kane and ranjin has a plan i can just feel it. but dont be suprised if ranjin drops his first name and becomes sin.

You seem to misinterpret my prediction with the fact that I think it's going to be the next world title classic or something. It's a quick return feud for Taker, and your thought that the WWE loves repetitive matches only proves my point. There's this wonderful school of thought that uses "logic", check into it.

I like how it says "finally" as if this didnt happen at WM23. Anyways, it makes zero sense for anyone besides Kane to win this, to get him over as a serious threat once again. Itll be ugly, and a waste of PPV time that easily couldve been taken care of on TV, but ah well.

Kane (Like many others before) will try to get a good match, but sadly, he won't. the best match khali had was at summerslam 08 with triple h, and that was only decent. Kane will go over, fued with diggler/mysterio (whoever wins the IC match), win the title, drop it to...somebody who deserves it, fued with taker, and maybe win a world title.

Ugh. If Khali wins, I lose faith in humanity. This match will be godawful, though at least it had a proper buildup, apparently somebody remembered how to do that. Kane wins, then hopefully goes on to job to someone worthwhile.

I don't care for this feud and Khali should just be gone IMO. Kane deserves better than this and I hope he gets the win cleanly because he hasn't really beaten Khali in a match. It was just a DQ. Lame stale feud 2 years later guys this just needs to die.

This match will be the worst on the card, and shouldnt even be there. I see khali winning by DQ, and a rematch happening at Breaking Point in a submission match (even worse!) Just a horrible feud.
