Summer Olympics 2012 LD

The Canadian players played their hearts out. They cannot believe what happened. They led three times in the match, only to lose in the last 45 seconds.

I feel so bad for them, but was incredibly excited for Team USA. USA vs. Japan for the gold medal.

I caught the last 20 minutes of the game. It was a pretty exciting watch.

I thought something very similar, though I thought Smurfs first.

I saw the peoples elbow in the wrestling.

Alert me if you see a Canadian Destroyer.

Pretty certain I saw someone use a German suplex. Was waiting for them to do rolling ones and go for the hattrick.

Caught the second half of extra time. Easily some of the best women's football I've ever seen.

Anyone just see the USA dunk that did did not count because he slammed it in only for it to bounce off his chest and back up through the hoop again?

Should have been two points but wasn't given.

Somebody just did the worm in wrestling.

Currently watching USA v Japan in Baseball. It's shit.

Apparently there are two separate set of rules in the basketball game between USA and Argentina. And Kevin Durant has caught fire.

Sly on USA defeating Canada after the ref gifted them the third goal:

:lmao:

I don't know the rules of soccer well enough to understand what you mean. I understand there is controversy about the referee's decision, but I don't know what the controversy is (not sure if it was the goalkeeper or the handball).

And the entire second half was amazing, regardless of who won the game.

Maybe I should say, that it's not that the game wasn't exciting, but the poor officiating took away a lot from the game.

Then I suppose my ignorance of the rules paid off, because I thought it was an incredibly exciting game.

What was the problem with the officiating?

Id just like to say that while I don't know much about soccer, I'm pretty sure Canada got screwed today, specifcally on the 3rd US goal.

Excellent performance by the USA against Argentina. They went from a one point lead, to an absolute rout. They've got it all, really -- great defense, great offense, great athleticism.
