Sum 41 or Blink 182?

Sum 41 and Blink 182 are 2 of my favourite bands of all time, and a lot of their songs sound similar.

They both have a punk rock sound, but their later work is more mature. Sum 41 is not as famous here in Australia, but Blink 182 are very famous.

I prefer Sum 41 over Blink 182. Sum 41 weren't played on the radio over here and that means that i haven't heard their songs over and over again, but Blink 182 used to always have their songs on the radio and i had to listen to them over and over again. They were good songs, but they were played too many times.

Also, i just like the tune of a lot of Sum 41's songs. I can listen to their Underclass Hero album without skipping a song, and that really says something about a band.

So who do you prefer, Sum 41 or Blink 182?

I prefer Sum 41 over Blink's, because Sum 41's music gets you excited and makes you want to break stuff.

Sum 41 is also targeting mid-teens which is why most of their songs are based on teen life.

Blink's music is definantly more adult oriented and targeted more toward's girls, I think.

Most of Blink's songs are also slow paced,as compared to Sum's fast paced rythm.

So who I think the better band is, I have to go with Sum b/c I like the rythm.
