Getting Noticed By Management
......Why A-Rod why? I really dont know if I should believe this or not. I'm always in disbelief after a great athelete is reported to have used the juice.....but this is just a different level of shock.

^^^^A-Rod.......Alex Rodriguez..........the guy who had sex with Madonna.

so not a famous baseball player, or sportsmen. just "the guy that had sex with madonna"
Its not like thats a good thing, how many other people can say that.

Sparky, He's probably the most famous baseball player alive. And he's a multiple time MVP so he's actually a good player too.

I was just laughing bout how you made no mention of his profession just who he had slept with.

Everyone used it back then. So meh.

I really dont have a problem with it. But the media is going to slaughter him. We've seen it multiple times before. A HOF caliber player is busted for steroids and then the media sits on their high horse and refuses to put him in the HOF. It's just so fucking ridiculous.

Talking of steriods, I have to take part in a discussion about whether drugs should be allowed in sports or not.

99.9% of american athletes are on. fuck it, let them all do it, makes sport a level playing field then. He who dies biggest, right?

That's not even CLOSE to being true. Somewhere around 1100 baseball players were tested in 2003. Barely more than 100 tested positive for any kind of substance.

These allegations are irrelevant anyway. The positive tests are from 2003, a time when testing positive for steroids didn't even lead to a fine or anything. In fact, those tests were from a round of tests done to determine if steroids WERE a big issue, and something which should be taken seriously by the league, after the BALCO scandal, which A-Rod has still never even been remotely linked to. On top of it all, those tests are are sealed by the courts, and anyone who DID leak that information, even if it IS true, to the media, are in a serious legal bind, and can be prosecuted for leaking court-ordered sealed information. This is just another case of greedy insiders using the media's sensationalizing of steroids to make a payday by linking the big names to it.

The MLB HOF is almost a joke anymore, or at least the way the voters determine who gets in and who doesn't, the Baseball writers who vote for this shit seem to think that what the player does off the field should have just as much of an effect on whether or not they get in as what they do on the field, which is simply stupid, it's the Major League Baseball HOF, they should only be taking into consideration what the players accomplished on the field not what they do off the field

I could really care less about the whole steroid thing in baseball, so a few guys hit a couple extra HRs, while hitting those HRs they also got people interested in baseball again, and possibly saved the league from eventually folding

Another thing I just noticed is it seems my Rangers use to be a supply house for steroids. Too bad it couldn't help us beat the Yankess or get over .500 depending on the time.

POFS organization.

just because they havent tested positive for it, doesn't mean they're not on it or havent been in the past...

Yeah, but when they stop taking they stop gaining the benefits. It's not like adding an addition onto your house. When they stop taking, they shrink down.

that couldnt be further from the truth my friend. what determines whether you keep our gains from steroid taking is diet, genetics and routine. i know steroid users who have continued to make gains once they have stopped taking.

Then I would say they are the exception to the rule. When you stop pumping your body with artificial hormones that are used specifically to increase muscle mass, then you are going to start losing that muscle. Steroids increase your appetite, so quitting will cause you to eat less. Furthermore, those who quit often go through depression because of the hormonal fluctuations, giving one less energy and desire to work out (not to mention the depression at the shrinking of the body).
