- Robert Roode & James Storm defeated LAX to win the TNA Tag Team champions after Storm struck Hernandez with a loaded boot. Hector Guerrero argued with the referee, who re-started the bout. LAX won and retained the titles. Afterwards, Roode laid out everyone in LAX with a chair, then handcuffed them to the ropes, whipping them with a belt.

So Tomko & Styles lose the titles to Super Eric & Kaz. Super Eric & Kaz are stripped of the titles because Super Eric is just plain stupid (Or something like that). They have an elaborate tournament, with the main selling point being that half the teams are odd couples. They tournament is then won by an established team, not one of the odd couple ones. Then apparently the new champs L.A.X. hold the titles for a month, lose them, then gain them back. All in one night. I'll give TNA this, it's never boring. But then again WCW wasn't boring either.

TNA is so convoluted it's unreal. But when it's being convoluted it's not being good. It's being stupid, and headache inducing. What exactly was the point in putting the titles on Storm & Roode for all ove a couple of minutes? Is it because both are over and deserved a title, even if it was only for a couple of minutes? Or is it because TNA likes to overcomplicate things?

This reeks of Russo and his bang bang style of booking. I can understand where he's coming from though, but I think part of the problem here is that this sounds odd on paper, but if this were live tv, it could be somewhat exciting. When Russo was writing Raw, I believe every other week the show was taped, but the internet wasn't as big of a factor yet. At least in my case, I wasn't a smark yet, so when I watched Raw and saw the random title changes once every week or two, I loved it. Now, things like these seem more pointless as we know what to expect. But I digress. TNA's booking seems random as ever recently. I watched Impact last week having forgotten the spoilers, and realized I had no idea what was going on in any part of the show. I knew the matches, but I had no clue as to why they were happening, which is the case here. Storm and Roode are a team? Since when? Why? Tell us these things TNA!

Are they COUNTING the title switch? I read Roode & Storm cheated to win and the match was restarted, with LAX winning, so I'm not sure the switch actually counts in any records.. it's just to play off the emotions of the crowd.

I was pretty mad when I read that spoiler as well. This is just TNA trying to surprise the audience, but this is a very stupid way to try and pull it off. Storm and Roode are great in their own respective ways, but they had absolutely no build up as a tag team and putting the titles on them for a couple of minutes is just stupid. I mean at least let them have the titles until the following Impact and let them brag a little bit about it. I could be wrong and this could look great on TV, but from reading the spoiler, it just sounds like more strange booking from TNA. I swear they always have the right seeds planted and then they make just odd decisions that make whatever story it is just strange and complicated.

I was there for the taping. Roode and Storm cheated to win. Hector Guerrero told the ref what happened and the match restarted with LAX getting the victory. Restarting matches is nothing new. I think TNA did this to get Roode and Storm over more as heels by cheating and to get LAX over as faces by beating the cheaters.
