Immortal vs Fortune...Again?

Quote the Raven, nevermore.
So I'm watching IMPACT, and I noticed that Robert Roode came down to the ring with Kurt Angle and Bully Ray, two members of Immortal. Now I'm wondering, is Roode now a member of Immortal?

If this is the case and Robert Roode is infact leading Immortal, then could we possibly see another fued between two new versions of Immortal and Fortune?

Hear me out, Roode could lead Immortal and recruit such members as Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe and Kaz while AJ Styles can team with James Storm, Eric Young, and Abyss?

Immortal:

Robert Roode- Leader
Christopher Daniels-Mid Carder
Samoa Joe & Kaz- Tag Team

Fortune:

AJ Styles- Leader
James Storm- Mid Carder
Abyss & Eric Young- Tag Team

INB4 the wave of anti-Immortal fans. I'm not completely against the idea of building up Immortal again, if for no other reason than to finally get a little closure to the whole thing. It would have been nice if after Hogan turned, he put an end to Immortal or they addressed it at all. As it is, the group has been coasting with Bully Ray.

Here's the thing: while I don't have a huge issue with them continuing Immortal with Bobby Roode in charge, I would like to see something fresh. Keep up the group if they really have to, but give me a reason to keep watching. I like what they're trying to do with the tag team division, and I like all the main-event level feuds with Angle, Storm, Hardy, etc. I like Roode as champion... They have a lot going for them, they just need to try something fresh with the title picture!

having a group of Immortal would not be a bad idea, if it's kept small.
was Angle ever really officially in Immortal? seemed more like he was just heel and working with them, rather than being a full on member. when I think of a stable/group they should all be together. over the last few months Immortal along with Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair have been Bully, Steiner, and Gunner. not really Angle.
you can have the current remaining members of Immortal still together(not Angle) and maybe add 1 more person so the wrestlers are Bully/Gunner/Steiner.
you can't have a new Immortal without any of the old members.

they should not reform a new Fortune. James Storm is also already main event level.

I dunno, I just think it would be cool to see all the original TNA guys going at it. Maybe have Jeff Jarrett manage Immortal and Sting can manage Fortune leading up to a 5 on 5 match at one of the PPVs.

I think it is uneccessary to bring Fourtune back its run its course. I was never really a big fan of Fourtune, it just seemed like another 4 Horsemen rehash. If they did bring it back I dont see Eric Young and Abyss being a good fit. I think TNA needs to scrap the factions for a few months and build some singles and tag feuds. They just seem to do the power struggle story line over and over again.

I'm liking Roode as the champ so far. But I don't know if Immortal should be rebuilt. The whole thing should've came full circle back at BFG when Hogan turned. Yes, Bully Ray has been the only stand out of the stable. But at the same time everyone else in Immortal is doing their own thing. Flair is managing Gunner, Steiner is just an afterthought, and Bischoff hasn't been on TV for quite a while. Plus, based on the opening last night on Impact, both Kurt and Ray are bucking to get a shot at the title. Perhaps Roode can have a stable of himself, Daniels, and Kaz, but shy away from the whole Fortune gimmick. Maybe call themselves the Selfish Generation as Roode claims to be the leader of. He would be in the role similar to Triple H in Evolution. Its just a thought though.

No...Immortal is almost done. I think Abyss will go over Bully Ray this Sunday that will be the official end of Immortal. It needs to go away. There is no point to it. Hulk is gone, Hardy left, Jarrett is gone, Bischoff is off TV, Abyss turned, let it die. Bully Ray isn't enough to carry the faction and Robert Roode doesn't make sense as its leader. He broke apart from Fortune because he is "selfish." Why would he just join another stable. He needs to be separate for a while.

TNA has done the stable thing to death. Give it a year or so and they'll have another stable, but it needs to make sense. Let Immortal go.........
