Guys, it is way to early to be blanketing Chris Benoit is a murderer. For fuck sake, what happened to innocent until proven guilty.

Sure, the signs point to it, but you never fucking know. For all we know, this might be a half assed police investigation because they think it is open and shut.

I really do agree with you on this matter, while signs do show benoit did it, like its said theirs at the very least a 1% chance he didn't and i would take that to the bank, because lots of murders like that have been proven wrong. And dont think i am a benoit fan, ive never liked nor hated the guy. Im talking strictly from the point of view of someone who believes in the best of a bad situation

Topped with the fact Nancy's hands and feet were bound he probably got called by a coerced Nancy to lure him home and then spent 24 hours in terror.

I am not denying or in denial that he did it, but I will not make my judgement call on him until everything is hard evidence.

I understand this is a speculation thread, and people have emotions running high after a wrestling great has passed in the most brutal of manners, but he should be given credit for his undevoted dedication to the business and his overall talent. I might be the only one thinking this, but my Benoit avatar and my Benoit sig will stay where they are. You can't get a definitive time on a text message. I have gotten texts 20 hours after they were sent and I have also gotten them within minutes. They are unreliable for most cell phones as far as getting them the minute they are sent depending on your connectivity

The same thing has happened on my behalf, there have been text messages that I recieved multiple hours, sometimes a day after they were sent. Sometimes text messages I've sent myself have gotten there hours after. This may very well have been the case, with the text messages that were sent this weekend.

Thats what im saying. It just doesnt all add up with the testomonial from Chavo and the scene. Plus they have to do a lot of testing over the house and now the bibles and bonds that held nancy. A lot of forenzic (spelling) work is going to come into this and so please do not accuse anything yet until the FULL FACTS are present. Remember, sometimes the preliminary work ends up being incorrect they are just making an EDUCATED GUESS on the scene.

For all you people who are saying that someone else could of done it, don't you think the investigators got benoits finger prints and matched it with the prints on the murder objects? He was already in the system before with the DUI charge so I believe they already had his prints. If someone else done it then I'm pretty sure they would of figured that out right after they collected all the evidence.

Well everyone here is a wrestling fan obviously, but we are Humans first. He may have had an amazing career but the monstrosities that appear to have been committed overshadow everything as far as I'm concerned.

What has caused not only me, but probably most of the wrestling community to lose respect for him? Him being a murderer. I just read an official report that says the time of deaths have been somewhat determined and that all signs point to Chris Benoit. He was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but I think being a murderer is more of a big deal.

Chris Benoit worked his whole life and established himself as one of the best wrestlers of all time and to many they thought he was a helpful wrestler who was a great family man. Now that he does this he will no longer be remembered for any good he created. 20 years down the road people will think back and remember him as the roid raging freak who killed his family and placed bibles next to them. That is all, no one will talk about his technical work 20 years down the road. It's a damn shame he had to change his legacy with something so pathetic.
