Sometimes life is just too funny (This thread has porn!)

My favorite part:

A picture is shown of a Ben and Jerry's logo next to a porno cover. The voiceover person says: "On the left is the ice cream label and on the right is the cover of the DVD."

Gee, I NEVER would have figured that out without your help CNN lady. Thank you so much.

Also: "We're worried about our children being confused."

What kind of children are regularly looking at porn DVD covers? It also says maybe you shouldn't be giving them ice cream so often. Try an apple.

One more thing: near the end the reporter reads a statement from Ben and Jerry's off her phone. That looks tacky to me and always will.

Of course they had to have the woman who finds pornography offensive and degrading to women.

I'm not an expert on the law, but shouldn't parody laws protect the porn company here?

I love how some people say porn is degrading to women, conveniently ignoring the fact the women choose to do it, and the fact men are in porn too.

You just made my day, Sly. Boston cream thigh. Awesome. Seriously though, these idiots are that offended or can't differentiate between a DVD cover and ice cream, which might I add aren't even sold in the same establishments. And way to throw kids into the mix there. Damn Republicans!

The funniest part about this, I'm betting most people didn't even know these porn titles existed until after Ben & Jerry's decided to sue, & make public statements about it. Also Ben & Jerry's is ******ed expensive for ice cream, who the fuck buys that shit for their kids?!

So is rock and roll, but these women aren't coming out saying it's degrading to women.
Wrestling might fit into that category too. Better ban it, and rap. Using his logic you could find a reason to call almost anything degrading to women.

It is a pretty abusive culture though. Drug abuse, STDs, etc...

And all that doesn't affect the men?

So is rock and roll, but these women aren't coming out saying it's degrading to women.

Actually, when I was younger( late teens/early 20s--in the late 80s/early 90s ) there were calls against rock for treating women as objects. Mostly in the hair/glam phase of rock. Part of the warning labels brought on by the PMRC was to fight sexual lyrics and images, predominantly against women.
