There's not much else to do on a thursday night. Always Sunny won't be back on until fall. O'Reilly factor re-airs three times so you could either watch it twice or switch over to TNA. They don't always dedicate 20 minutes to women's matches that no one cares about. Just sometimes. And you can change the channel durring the talking segments and mute the announcers during the wrestling. There are some talented guys on the roster so if you ignore the storylines and day dream your own finishes to what otherwise would be a decent match you'll enjoy the show just fine. It actually makes decent DVR theater since you can pick and choose which parts to watch.
I'll give you that some of their screwy endings are getting tedious at best. SOmetimes I would like to watch a PPV without 5 unclean endings on one card... But has it not been like that consistently for the past few years? Was it not like that in WCW for a LONG time? Is it not like that in WWE from time to time? Maybe it's not a GOOD thing, but I've just come to accept annoying booking as a part of wrestling... I also happen to think TNA's women's division isn't all that bad. Certainly more enjoyable than WWE's! I'm not even going to touch on "changing the channel during talking segments".
As for your argument about there being nothing to do on Thursday nights? That is total bullcrap. Thursdays have long-since been one of TV's most populated nights, and outside of Sundays most of the prime-time draws that aren't rivaling MNF and Raw are held then. Just in comedies alone, you have the Office, Community, Big Bang Theory, and Psych. In fact, one of the primary reasons that Smackdown left Thursdays is because they stopped being able to compete with several top draws.
Because, If you can get pass seeing Hogan and Bishcoff on your screen, they really do have a very talented roster.
The only reason I'm not going to bitch you out about this...about having the most recognizable face in wrestling and one of the all-time best kayfabe leaders on TV when you desperate need it as a lower-end product...is because you saved yourself in the end.
Last I could tell, Beavis and Butthead episodes run on Thursday nights at 10, with previous week's rerun at 9 or 9:30. Stick with those, I'd say. Not a fan? Watch anyway; still better than Impact.
I'm guessing you have gotten a few infractions and/or warnings for posting spam. I say that because your sig is obviously a passive-aggressive slap towards the mods are the rules here in the forums. Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, there are reasons for the rules, and even more reasons that you're getting in trouble for not following them? Take this as a perfect example... NO, they don't require long essays from you, they require you to state your opinion, and provide REASONS for your opinion. Just saying "Beavis and Butthead is better than watching Impact" is your opinion, but you have NO reasons. It doesn't take a damn essay to write ONE or TWO more sentences defend your post. Don't blame others for your incompetence.
I like how you TNA fans use this thread to bash WWE!
A couple things have been said against the WWE, most of them fairly accurate. If anything that was a response to a TON of terribly-worded attacks against the TNA product... Notice how all of the anti-TNA crap in this thread, as totally expected as it all is, shows no signs of intelligent writers or well thought-out opinion backed up with fact. It's just the same recycled garbage over and over again...
Should they not defend themselves against hordes of ignorance, whose slander not only makes them look bad, but makes the perpetrators product look even worse...? I wouldn't say Bully Ray, the best heel currently in pro wrestling, is worse than watching paint dry. I wouldn't say James Storm, who is quickly becoming one of the best promo workers and faces in TNA, is worse than paint drying.
Dynamite, honestly I watch Impact for the differences it has from WWE. And because I have to...because if I don't I get in a lot of trouble.
As I said, Bully Ray has evolved into this heel machine, and I LOVE his recent work in the last few months. Jeff Hardy's return has been handedly splendidly. They are building up Gunner in a very intense, but slow-ish route that will ultimately benefit him in the end. Storm and Roode, two homegrown talents, have evolved into truly great talents and are on top of the company. AJ has taken more of a backseat to put over other talents, but hasn't slowed down one bit. I dont' want to say "watch TNA because they do certain things better than WWE"... Watch TNA because you're a wrestling fan that may want something different on a weekly basis. Personally I just can't get enough weekly episodic wrestling, so that's enough for me. If you need to be sold, watch the weekly TV from the start of 2012 to right now, and if you don't like it after the next PPV, stop watching! I will say, their TV is WAY better than PPV. Haven't really enjoyed a single TNA PPV since BFG...
