Me: How are we going to change the fact that a disproportionate amount of the wealth of America, I think around 50%, is focused in the top 1% of the country? It's saying something when you can list the top 400 wealthiest families in America and show that they are more wealthy than the bottom 50% of the country.

The problem here is they dont really care, they just want us all to believe that they care in order to get re-elected, even though labour wont win this election the lib dems are looking like the favorites and ill tell you why.

The Tories have stuffed the country up with capitalist bullcrap, labour at first cared about this country adn then run amoke when they noticed they could get away with doing whatever they wanted and spent our cash like there was no tomorrow.

and for those who dont know all politicians are crooked, its up to us as a people to really make our votes count, we need to actually go for the guys that will help us out in the short term and i believe it will be labour, a tory government will just end up taking short cuts and screwing us up again, either way its goign to be a hung parliment and once that happens the power will at least go back to the people in some form.

The UKIP is basically people that the Tories left behind because they are so completely out of touch with them, which is saying something. I voted for Lib Dem in the European Elections, and Ken Livingstone in London, and I probably will go for Lib Dem again. If I still lived in Wales I'd vote for Plaid Cymru, even though I think Welsh independance is a ******ed proposition.

Cant say I really understand the whole EU thing, except basically that the government pumped shitloads of money and resources into it, and only then offered us a referendum knowing full well that if we pulled out we'd lose the lot and the taxpayer would have to make up the difference.

Something about cutting a shitload of jobs in thepublic sector, helping small businesses thrive, which apparently is one of the reasons we need out of the EU as they shit all over small businesses, basically cut public sector jobs, but help the private sector thrive so that it is all made up. To be honest I wasnt paying much attention.

I met my local Lib Dem Borough Councillor where I was working yesterday actually, gave my mate a chance to interview him. It was funny stuff.

I'll sum up the basics best I can

My mate: You lot seem to be quite popular this year, think you've got a chance?

Lib Dem dude: Well, some of our members live in cockoo land, they actually think we will win.

My mate: I noticed that your policy is to cut classroom sizes in schools, and change the tax laws so that only people earning over £10,000 will have to pay tax, but the schools are always crying about being underfunded, and with the tax cuts, wheres the money going to come from? someone is going to lose out

Lib Dem dude: To be honest, I downloaded our (forgotten the word) the other day, it's explained I think, but I cant make head nor tail of it to be frank.

My mate: Is your party actually strong enough to run the country?

Lib Dem dude: *Shrugs* Dont know really, well, we'd give it a go, we might do alright.

The conversation was a lot more jokey than that to be fair. Still, after talking to him, the lib dems definately got my vote.
