the WWE hardcore title is considered a third tier title, joining the European title as the two third-tier titles in the WWE's Grand Slam Championship (world, tag, second tier, third tier). The last time I checked (some 6 months ago) the Euro title was the only one.
What does this mean? For one, Kane and Booker T have quietly joined the list of WWE Grand Slam champions. Two, Big Show and The Undertaker are still an IC title reign away. And three, who really cares anymore. With the long parade of Triple Crown winners that we've had and the many more we'll see, and the fact that wrestling is not a real sport, there is no significance or legitness to this feat (I made up a word). It means nothing and adding the Hardcore title seems both funny and pointless.
Now when are they going to just add the US title to second tier and the ECW to third tier? What do you all think of this earthshatteringly quiet bit of trivial news?
