Smackdown! Theme Music...

Yes, Green Day is horrible and the song doesn't fit.

You know what would be awesome? Sailing by Christopher Cross. You can't deny the power of Christopher Cross.

yeah i'm not too keen on 'Know Your Enemy' for the Smackdown theme, great song but not sutable for WWE, 'Drowning Pool' by Rev Theory should be it again.

I liked the music at first, but SD needs to be revamped. Green Day doesn't suck, but it's not good enough for WWE. Smackdown needs more of a rock theme song. My favs were Rise Up and Let It Roll.

I REALLY THINK IT'S A GREAT SONG AND IT FITS THE SMACKDOWN THEME VERY WELL. YOU GUYS WHO DONT LIKE THIS MUSIC MUST HAVE VERY BAD TASTE BECAUSE THIS IS ART AT ITS HIGHEST FORM IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN YOU DONT LIKE WRESTLING AS A WHOLE BECAUSE ITS ALL CONNECTED IN A VERY DELICATE WAY. THIS MUSIC IS GREAT AND SMACKDOWN WILL NEVER CHANGE IT

1st and before I address anything else...... take your post, polish it up, turn it sideways and shove that sonofabitch up your candy ass.

Now, onto the Smackdown theme. It needs changing, drastically.
Take me back a few years and I would've told you to shoot me for preferring a Nickleback song over a Green Day song. However it has happened.

Was it smackdown theme that used to have the lyrics "And i wont be denied... (then it got a bit shouty)" - Edit - Drowning Pool - Rise up

Basically in a nutshell, Bieber can go (CAPSLOCK) him/herself and Green Day should no longer be the theme of smackdown.

"Know Your Enemy" is a great song, I've always loved Green Day. However, as the introduction to a Wrestling show, it's just not right.

I always imagined one day, Green Day will be live on Smackdown performing it and out comes Cody Rhodes, grabbing Billie Joe & hitting the Cross-Rhodes. That's just dreaming, obviously. Let's get rid of the pop-punk, because it's too "happy-go-lucky" and replace it with something a bit more like the Nickelback song that we've got on RAW.

I'm a big Green Day fan but I really don't dig Know Your Enemy. It's been overplayed since that album was released IMO and doesn't particularly suit a wrestling show...there are so many other GD songs they could've used.

Smackdown's current theme is horrible and I never understood why they chose that song. I honestly dislike both of the current theme songs. I understand needing to change up the intro song every now and then, but they had the PERFECT song in 2009, Let It Roll.

Whoever decided that they should move from THAT to the song we have been stuck with for the past 2 years should be fired. Let It Roll was one of the best intro songs the WWE has ever had. I'd put it up there with Thorn In Your Eye. They should revert back to Let It Roll because it always got me pumped up and ready to watch the in-ring action of Smackdown. Don't get me wrong, I am a Green Day fan. American Idiot was one of my favorite CD's. They do not belong when it comes to a WWE intro song though. It just does not fit the way they hoped it would.

I really liked "The Beautiful People", also "I Want It All" I that it was called that anyway,t hey used it in 2003 i believe. Also "let it roll" was good to.

the current song is terrible, and just does not fit a wrestling show.....at all

I am not a fan of either of the Raw or the Smackdown theme songs. No two people are going to have the same taste in music though. However, both Nickelback have tens of millions of fans each. Just take a look at their Facebook pages. You'll see that they are way more popular than Marilyn Manson. It seems like a lot of people are simply stuck in the past. Do you really want to bring back "old school" music for the Raw and Smackdown themes? If anything, WWE should change the theme songs for both shows and shift to something more modern. The 1990s are gone. The 2000s are gone. It's 2012 now and time for change. The question to ask is "What individual musicians or bands are fairly new that have a massive social media fanbase that have a song that fits Raw and Smackdown?" I unfortunately don't have that answer right now. Heck, maybe we really just need Jim Johnston to produce two amazing new theme songs.
