Best and Worst Theme Music

Current best - Randy Orton, it's unique, and it fits his gimmick so well.
Worst at the moment - Mark Henry, Seriously, he used this theme from heel to face to heel, and it enforces too many stereotypes, while sounding stupid overall.
Best of all time - Real American, Hulk Hogan. It defined a generation of wrestling, and enforced the gimmick of Wrestling Role Model.

Best Right now? I'm digging Mark Henry's theme, mainly because it reminds me of Kidman's 'you can run if you want to'

Worst music? Voices ties with Koffi's theme for me. Randy needs something new, and Koffi's song is so messed up considering he's no longer Jamacian in his gimmick

All time. Wow. I loved D-X from vol 4, and the hook 'Oh you didn't know' still has me mark out for the New Age Outlaws. nWo Wolfpac. Of course the glass shatters. Its time to play the game. I can't pick.

Mark Henry's theme music is pretty good. It suits him and his current hot streak, hell I'm listening to it as I type this.

Worst? At the moment, I can't stand Kelly's theme. I just find it irritating.

Best of all-time? Personally, I find the Undertaker's theme(Graveyard Symphony) as a very effective theme for the character as it really sets the mood for the audience on what the Undertaker is about. Stone Cold's theme comes in at second place because it's an established theme seeing as it was used by one of the All-time greats, and the theme itself seems to say "I'm a violent red-neck who's gonna whoop your creepy little bastard ass"

Which one do I like right now?

- Dolph Ziggler's "I Am Perfection" - I can't get the damn thing out of my head!

Worst?

- Cody Rhodes, bland, very bland.
- John Cena - used it for years. Even The Rock and Austin had theirs changed multiple times.

Best of all time?

- The Rock - I mean come on, when you hear "If Ya Smell...", your dick gets hard and you know he's gonna kick some ass.
- Edge, Metalingus by Alter Bridge, great song, great intro.

BestFor me C.M Punks's 'Cult of Personality' intro would be my pick. I love hearing that static cut in and then the guitars hit.

Worst I personally cant stand Jack Swaggers music.

Best of all time I was finsing it hard to pick any one of all time, someone before mentioned D.X and another mentioned Undertakers. Both of these are clear stand outs in a stacked field.

Best: CM Punk's, Mark Henry's.

Worst: Kelly Kelly's so ANNOYING. , Randy Orton's coz it makes me cringe lol. Cena's also makes me cringe, i preferred 'Basic Thuganomics' ..
'My Time is Now?' *changes channel* after hearing it for 6 years? change it please!

1. Whose theme music do you like best that wrestles right now?

I really like Drew McIntyre's theme. I really like Evan Bourne, Born to Fly but that's because I love Mutiny Within.

As for in house ones. Has to be Zack Ryder.

Not an entrance music but The End is incredible.

2. Worst Music?
I'm just bored of John Cena's I guess you can't change it though unless he releases another album. Kofi's is equally as awful.

3. Best theme music of all time?

Gangrel without a doubt, it fitted his character perfectly.

Best Right Now
CM Punk - Back in the 80s, my high school band and I played this song during our annual, "Spring Sing," assembly and it was really cool. As a bass player, I was really proud to get through it because it's a tough damn song to play. That's how CM Punk makes me feel when he comes out to it.

Worst Right Now
Jack Swagger - Maybe I just heard it too much playing Smackdown vs Raw 2010 with my son, but that song makes me want to just cover my ears. It just has an annoying vibe to it. It also could hurt that I really don't care for Jack Swagger.

Best All-Time
Sting (Crow Gimmick) - I just remember his entrance at Starrcade '97. I had purchased that show as pretty much the only shot I'd really give WCW. I had been a WWF guy my whole life as a wrestling fan, and I ordered that show because the Hogan v Sting feud was hard to ignore. This entrance got me in the mood that this match was going to be epic. We were going to see a war. Not only did it sound bad-ass, but the way it picks up, increases the tempo, and then just drops off is the coolest damn thing they could have done. It didn't just fade out like the other songs, it ended on an exclamation point. The build up was great and the finale was strong, completely unlike the match. If WCW booked their matches to be as good as some of their theme songs were, they'd probably still be around.

BEST THEME TODAY: Dolph Zigglers slowed down music sound 10x better. Other one sounded too dumb. But the best to me is John Cenas. Fits him well and def not the worst.

WORST THEME TODAY: Ted Dibiases theme is horrible just doesn't fit. His first theme was a perfect fit IMO.

BEST THEME EVER: Toss up between the old HHH theme, and Edges current theme. Notable mention to Owen Harts porno music theme.

Best right now? John Cena - Say what you want about Cena, but the entrance theme is awesome.

Worst entrance theme? Zack Ryder - oh Radio?! are you serious bro?!

Best of all time? The Ultimate Warrior - I get pumped up whenever i hear it, even now.

Best right now: Uso's theme, including the battle chant, always get me hyped. It's just an instrumental but I jam to it.
Honorable Mention: Mark Henry, Alex Riley, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Awesome Truth

Worst entrance: The Bella's theme is seriously annoying to the point of muting the TV
Honorable Mention: Yoshi Tatsu, Trent Barretta, Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins

Best Ever Entrance: This is a little unknown, but Kofi in developmental used the theme Confrontation by Damian Marley, which I hold in high regard. It samples Goldberg's theme too. He should've kept that instead of this S.O.S. one
Honorable Mention: Goldberg, Stone Cold, The Rock, Eddie Guerrero, Y2J

Best? I'll choose Triple H's. That music really rocks! I love motorhead :lmao:

Worst? Yes perhaps I'll go with Cena. "Time is now" is over. It has been 6 years and your time is still now? Are you serious bro?

Best of all time? I'll go for The Undertaker. That music is really spine-chilling.

Current faves - Christian's if you just close your eyes and Cody Rhodes' remixed theme. Both of 'em never fail to get me pumped up.

Worst - Ted DiBiase's. It just doesn't mesh with him being a face at all. (Dis)Hounrable mention to Jonny Curtis' theme.

Best of all time - Chris Jericho's 3rd edit of break the walls down, the one he was using around 2002. The song itself is timeless, fits him to a T, and again never fails to get me pumped up.

This is a tricky thread, as there are too many options. I'd say:

Best today:
Winner: Chrimson's "Not A Stranger To The Danger" - amazing chorus, and fits him great as well.
Runner Up: Mark Henries "Some Bodies Gonna Get It" - not only fits his character perfectly, but is a great song in its way.
Honorable Mention: CM Punk's "Cult of Personality" - a great song in general.

Worst today:
Winner: John Cena's "My Time is Now" - it has become as stale as the wrestler himself.
Runner Up: The Usos' "Gay Tribal Boodieshaking" - I don't know what it is and I don't care, but not only does it suck, the entrance also takes alot of time.
Honorable Mention: Ted Dibiase's "I Come From Money" - the thing isn't fit to be a wrestler's theme, should've given him something good, at least keep "Legacy".

Best in Hystory:
Winner: Jericho's "Break The Walls Down" & Edges "Metalingus" - tie, those two themes were just the most amazing theme's I recall, actually listened to them alot simply cause they are great songs.
Runner Up: Steve Austin's "Glass Breaking" - The one with the words not only fit him perfectly, but was also catchy, and a good song at that.
Honorable Mention: Hulk Hogan's "Real American" - Song was real gold, and of course it fit his persona right on.

Current best:
CM Punk
Wade Barrett
Alex Riley

Current Worst
Ted Dibiase(possibly worst ever)
Zack Ryder
Kofi Kingston

Best Ever
Demolition
The Ultimate Warrior
NWO

Best: This one is easy. Gonna have to go with Punk. Besides the fact that it's a great song, it's awesome that he got Vince to pay for the rights to use the song. 'This Fire Burns' by Killswitch is pretty awesome too. Punk always has great music.

Worst: Soooo many to pick from. But I cannot STAND Mysterio's entrance music. I just hate it.

Best ever: Easy, easy. Shane Douglas' theme from ECW is such a great song. ("Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple) A close second has to be 'The Game'. Having Motorhead do your entrance theme makes you a badass.

Mark Henry's theme is the best thing in the history of recorded sound. OK, that's an exaggeration. The second best thing. Ride Of The Valkyries is first. Henry's theme really suits him at the moment. It's big and aggressive, just like the man himself. It could just be that I'm really high on Henry at the moment, I never noticed how great it was until a few days ago.

It's important to distinguish between "favourite" and "best". I would never listen to Real American or The Time Is Now, but I accept that wrestling themes don't get much better than them. Alternatively, I love Ride Of The Valkyries as a piece of music, it's stunning. But it was a really bad theme for Daniel Bryan and the WWE Universe. The fans just weren't into it. Therefore, it was a bad wrestling theme. One that's both a great song and a great wrestling theme is Cult Of Personality. It sums up Punk's character really well, and Living Colour are a great band.

1) I love CM Punks song. I'm planning on getting it on my iPod because its just an awesome song. But i also think its the best today because, as others have said, it fits him and his personality right now.

2) Ted Debiase. It sucks and i'm not a fan of auto tune (unless its NigaHiga because he makes it funny)

3) I can't really say who i think has the best ever because i haven't heard too many old wrestling themes yet but for now i'm just gonna say 'Takers because its obviously PERFECT for him and it gives off an eerie sort of feel to it that makes you think the match is gonna be awesome(or at least it does for me)

Best Right Now: Oh definitely, Cult Of Personality. Punk's theme songs are always great. I think I played it a bout 50 times the first day I heard, it's such a catchy song and ''Living Colour'' are criminally unknown music-wise.

Worst Theme: Rey Mysterio's new theme sticks out. His old one used to be great, it was dead catchy and easy to sing along too. It played towards the kiddie and the adults. This one however, is god-awful. It's the intro that makes me want to hate it so badly. Booyaka is probably the worst word ever. Also, I hate all the generic rock theme's that I can't tell apart.

Best Theme Ever: Oh, it's probably a toss-up between three. Real American is a classic that I think even the non-wrestling fans recognise. And, I'm sure the Americans love it even more than I do. DX's theme is great too, it sets a particular mood that is intense. But, the one that edge's it is definitely the NWO theme. Such an awesome theme tune and when Kevin Nash came out to it, I sorted jumped out of my chair in excitement.

Best- For me it's a few.

Best-
Drew McIntyre: His theme song is one of the best because it's well done, it fits his character, and it makes you want to pay attention to whoever has it.
Kane: I'm surprised no one's said this yet. It's perfect for his character!

Worst-
Rey Mysterio: Any song that gives me a migrane isn't good.
Wade Barrett: Why has he kept that song? It's not good at all and people think of the Corre (which is actually Spansih for run in the he/she/you formal form).
R-Truth: Now this is dumb. It was okay when there WAS no music but now it's his old one remixed which is DUMB.

Best of All Time-
Edge: "You think you know me?" That's just brilliant because as soon as people hear that they know who's coming and are ready to see action.
Stone Cold Steve Austin: The glass shattering in the beinning is great and the song is awesome.

Best Right Now: I love Cult of Personality, it has been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid. MIntyre's theme is quite awesome as well. Literally the only thing about the guy I really like and the only reason I want him to stick around at this point.

Worst: Anyone with generic rock shit. By that I mean just repetitive guitar riffs with no lyrics or anything. It's not 1988 anymore, get a real fucking song.

All Time: Real American, hands down. Nothing in history ever popped a crowd like that music did and I doubt anything else ever will. Austin's would be up there too, as well as The Undertaker's. I used to play that shit on my WWE: The Music cds all the fucking time when I was little.

1. I don't have one answer for this question. I really like Cody Rhodes' remix of Smoke & Mirrors 'cause I like experimental music and it reminds me of songs I would remix by slowing down and other tricks. Jack Swagger's theme is pretty cool. The Bastion Booger's theme reminds me of something out of Silent Hill, so that's a plus for me. I miss CM Punk's old Killswitch Engage song, that was one of my favorites for the last few years.

2. Drew McIntyre's theme when he started with the whole "chosen one" thing. That is the epitome of crappy and generic.

3. Hulk Hogan's Real American and Chris Jericho's Break The Walls Down.

Best Currently?
Cody Rhodes. It suits his character well, and its just is old slowed and down and the lyrics taken out. It's perfect

Worst?
Ted Dibiase. What is that music he comes out to? Seriously. If he is gonna be mid-card talent he needs to have a song that gets an actual reaction out of people, and I'm just annoyed when he comes out.

Best all time?
Hard to choose, but I'm gonna go with Stone Cold's.When that Glass shattered you knew something entertaining was gonna happen.

Best right now - CM Punk with Cult of Personality. It's a great song, instantly identifiable, and fits him perfectly

Worst right now - Zach Ryder and whatever that is he comes out to. Don't get me wrong, I think it's very progressive of the WWE to have an openly gay wrestler that doesn't go out of his way to advertise it (except for the effeminate music and the Flying Face Fuck finish of his), but I just hate the song and don't feel there's anything about it that pumps the crowd up for his matches

Best of all time - This is always something you're going to be biased towards your all time favorites with, but I always loved Mankind's car crash entrance theme. The best music has an instantly identifiable hook that gets the crowd to their feet, and that car crash symbolized a Foley match better than anything.
