My PS3 got YLOD a while back, my warranty was up so I opened it up, got the game out, and then invested in a new one.

My PS3 is 3 years old, got one of the original versions and the warranty expired awhile back. Not sure if I can still send it, but I'm gonna give it a break for a bit. It still works for movies, so it could just be my games Idk. I'll give it a go sometime after vacation.

I had one of the PS3's that got stuffed over with that internet thingy a while back (the 60GB) and it got the YLOD... because it fell off my drawers onto the floor, a metre and a half up. For those that use imperial... 4 or 5 feet I think?
