So you've only been here a few days and you have amassed 40 posts. Having looked at some of them, I would say they were very good. You just have to carry on doing what you're doing and improve along the way. Pick up little things from the very established posters. That's what I did.

I would recommend you get an avatar though. It helps you stand out.

I may not be a member of one of these factions, so you can take this for what you think it's worth. I've seen you around and think you're a damn solid poster so far, and you'll only get better. Like Aladdin said, pay attention to the really good posters like klunderbunker, Tenta, Doc, The Brain, Lee, D-Man, and basically anyone with a shit ton of rep. And yea, just get an avatar that you like, that not many other people have.

Anything you want. It isn't about distinguishing yourself from posters like the people in this thread, rather distinguishing yourself from the shit ones who spam up the WWE section. Have a look through the collection, I believe there is a Michael Cole one if you are that way inclined.
