I asked the same thing weeks ago and was told because the shirt helps keep the show "more PG." Which doesn't explain how Nikki gets to shake her ass or having her girls on display. So whether that's true or not... who knows. Alexa's ring gear was never that revealing anyway so I didn't think it made much sense.
