Sly may want to take a look at this.

Bloody hell I just thought of Something. Inoki was the WWE champ at some stage, I wonder why he isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Which is why the WWE Hall of Fame is a sad joke. Antonio Inoki was arguably a more popular wrestler then Hulk Hogan, and is the Godfather of Japanese wrestling of sorts.

He's not in the Hall of Fame, but fucking Rocky Johnson and Pete Rose are in there. Go figure.

I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that Vince's limo driver is in there? Yet Sammartino and Thesz aren't, but someone like Nikolai Volkoff is. Amazing.

I dont know, but Sammartino has refused to go into the WWE Hall Of Fame.He doesnt want to be associated with it. He's said it in interviews ( i believe). I've read that Vince has asked him several times, and each time he declines.

He declines because it would be totally hypocritical for him to join it after all of the criticizing he does of the WWE.

He still deserves the recognition though.

If I were the WWE, I'd put him in, regardless if he wants to be at his ceremony or not. The man deserves recognition. If the WWE can make a DVD burying the Warrior without his input, then surely they could make a DVD featuring Bruno and have others input.

The Man that ended Muhammed Ali as a serious competitor in a shoot fight. The Man that Used his position in Japanese Pop Culture to get elected to the Diet, Bet Bob Backlund for the Title in 1979. Created NJPW. trained by Rikidozan and Karl Gotch. Didn't get pinned by Bruiser Brody. One of the Three Big names of Japanese Pro Wrestling History. has the same kind of Longevity that Thesz, Flair and Funk (Both Terry and Dory Jnr.) have had. Could quite possibly been a bigger draw than Hogan. Hard to determine with the change in Currency and also Inflation, aswell as the Japanese Bubble of the 80s. Failing that look at Wikipedia.
