Shows you grew up watching.

Anything on Nickelodeon. I mean there were so many great shows.

Kenan and Kel, All That, Rugrats, Rocket Power, Doug, Fairly Odd Parents, Guts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, GUTS, Slime Time, Kablam!, and I am sure there are a ton I am forgetting.

That was just Nickelodeon. We also had other great shows on other stations.

Ed, Edd and Eddy; 2 Stupid Dogs; Dexter's Lab; Johnny Bravo; Power Puff Girls (don't mock me); Boy Meets World; Saved By The Bell; Even Stevens; Celebrity Deathmatch; Malcolm in the Middle etc.

We also got some of the greatest kids movies of all-time in the Lion King, Alladin and Toy Story.

Oh yeah, and the single greatest movie of all-time was released in our youth. That's right, you know the one...

BRINK! We're soul skaters!

Just saw this, thought it was appropriate. I'm currently playing White version. Don't judge.

I watched shows that I wouldn't give a shiny shite about now. Damn, it's going to suck being a dad and having to watch shitty cartoons again...why oh why did Ren & Stimpy only last for five seasons? I can't pad that over seven/eight years!!!!!!!!!!

MTFO. Shrine of the silver monkey is the dream killer.

That's because half the ******s would put the body on backwards

The one where you had to go into the wood carving of like, armor and pull the handles down was always a riot; suddenly, hands reach around and pull you in

A bunch have already been mentioned: Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Doug, the whole Nickleodeon crew. Caught some Cow and Chicken as well on CN. What stood out to me most though is watching Twilight Zone and Outer Limits as a kid. With my tiny as tv, with the lights off and covering my ears because the intro songs scared the shit out of me. Twilight Zone is still tied with LOST as my favorite shows evah.

I used to fucking love Thundercats, I had all the action figures, vehicles, and even my own Sword Of Omens, Lion-O was my idol!

I was a big fan of the Gerry Anderson stuff, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Stingray- again I had the action figures and my Dad camped outside Toys R Us before christmas one year with my friends Dad so we could have the Tracy Island playset, which was the biggest selling toy that year.

Power Rangers- the original series. I had a major crush on the Pink Ranger, but the Green/White Ranger Tommy was my favourite. I still have that movie on video in the attic somewhere. This was the time period where the show was really controversial as kids were kicking each other to death re-enacting the fight scenes.

Other shows I loved were Transformers, Biker Mice From Mars, Ghostbusters, X-Men, Captain Planet & The Planeteers (again, I had the toys- and I wondered where my pocket money went...)

I was so happy when we got Sky, and I started watching shows like Kenan and Kel, Sister Sister, Dexters Lab, Johnny Bravo, stuff like that.

Other shows I can remember enjoying were Sharky & George, He-Man, Bucky O'Hare, Hey Arnold, Fun House (with the legendary Pat motherfucking Sharp and his mullet!), Get Your Own Back (with Dave Benson Phillips!!!)

I am now sad, I miss those days.

I had the Power Rangers Movie and Turbo:A Power Rangers Movie.

Obviously Power Rangers were mad.Umm DBZ,Pokemon,Beyblades,Yu Gi Oh,Naruto.Probally more im forgeting.

Its weird you always want to grow up fast and when you do you miss the good ol days of watching power rangers and pokemon etc

Dragonball Z, Tenchi Muyo, Bucky O' Hare, Pinky and The Brain (Narf!), Animaniacs, ReBoot, Bats, Supes and Justice League, Toxic Crusaders, Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys, Demon Headmaster, Transylvania Pet Shop, AAAAAAHHHHH Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, and god knows how many others...... but they're the ones that stick out in my mind.

The kids show i hated the most however was Captain Planet.

A) because Heart is not an element, and because.....

B) You had to throw an empty coke can at the guy and he'd keel over. How pathetic is that?

THANK YOU. Fuck that always bugged me. So what is fucking determination an element now too? What about sexual desire? Can I summon a fucking blue superhero in spandex every time my balls need draining? Makes no sense.

I'd have to say Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Transformers and Beast Wars (Beasties, for you Canadians :P), original Digimon, Beyblade, Power Rangers, oh and of course, wrestling.

I've always loved Pokemon, still do. Never dug the show though, always bored me. I've never been big on anime or anything, maybe that's why.

It's a show where kids summon a superhero with rings, it's not supposed to make perfect sense in the real world.

Haha true, but the fact that they needed to call something an element when it clearly isn't just to fit another minority on the show...they could have given him metal or some shit.

Thundercats was so cheesy when they would always put a moral at the end of every episode

"Rules are only useful if people choose to follow them, otherwise they are just words!"

Fuck off Tigra

Thundercats FTW! Sword of omens. Badass.

Of course, Transformers, GI JOE, Scooby Doo & TMNT.

But you gotta love Pinky& The Brain, Ren\Stimpy, & Rocco's Modern Life.

Also watched tons of shit late @ night- like Freddys Nightmares, Monsters, Tales from the Crypt, Outer Limits. Always was down with the horror flicks\shows.

Besides cartoons- Anyone else used to watch Alf or that live action show Dinosaurs? What about Pete & Pete? Those were good times.

I grew up watching the greatest action/adventure show of all the times:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Wasn't to interested in the show until the greatest Ranger of all time, the Green Ranger, came into the picture. He was fucking awesome.

I even watch the newest ones like Power Rangers Samurai or whatever. It's nostalgic.

So I should keep my son from watching the Green Ranger to avoid him turning into a ***? Gotcha.

I'm interested to know which TV shows you grew up watching and loving. Shows you just couldn't miss when you'd just come home from school.

I'll kick things off:

Kenan and Kel. The soundtrack was the coolest thing I'd ever heard at the time and having watched back a few episodes on Youtube, it actually was literally hilarious! Kenan and Kel were an awesome duo and was one of the main-reasons why I LOVED Nickelodeon growing up.
I was in the Audience for the series premiere.
