Well, I would prefer WWE surprise us with somebody else being the attacker. But since it's relatively certain that Kane will end up being the attacker because creative probably won't come up with something better, I guess it's not a bad idea. Supposedly Kane deserves a World Title shot...I'm not sure how true this actually is, because I'm not of the mindset that a guy should get a title shot just because he's been around forever. Granted, Kane has been doing great work lately, but there's so many guys on the roster who deserve to get their first real push. Are we really going to put the careers of Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston, and Christian on hold because Kane needs to get the World Title run he's never been able to attain? Ok, so that's a little harsh. I suppose that those other guys do have plenty of time left, but let's think about the end of the scenario? Kane wins Money in the Bank, cashes in on Mysterio, and defends the title against Undertaker when he comes back. Maybe he'll get a month or two as champion, but do you really think the WWE will let him keep the title for that long, or defeat the Undertaker with the belt on the line? Here's my stipulation for Kane winning the title...
-Kane DOESN'T win the Money in the Bank. Let a rising star with MITB so they can easily sneak into the main event at the opportune time. Using MITB so quickly takes the tension and surprise away, and we won't have the cashing in to look forward to...
-Kane wins the title fair and square. After this Sunday Mysterio and Swagger have got to be done feuding. Let Kane challenge the champion at SummerSlam and give him the big win.
-Give Kane some time to feud with somebody before Undertaker returns. He's got some more time left on injury, so let's give him a good program.
-Have Undertaker come back and start the feud. If they really want to make it great, they could hold it out until Survivor Series. They both have a lot of history at that place, and wouldn't it be great if Kane would actually go over the Deadman?
-Let Kane BEAT the Undertaker for once.
It's not perfect, and I do like your idea of Kane and Undertaker fighting over the title, because it's something different from a feud we've seen so much in the past. It would also be the first time I can remember that Undertaker was chasing Kane...
