Yes he should. I'm scared to death every time Ryback gets in the ring because I know he's going to hurt somebody with his incompetence. CM Punk confirmed what many have suspected and that's Ryback is stupid. I've even noticed myself. He seems to be confused all the time in the ring and he has no idea what he's doing. There's been times that Ryback has been dumb founded after matches as if he doesn't even know how to get out of the ring. I hope everybody chants "dumb as crap" whenever crapback wrestles. He deserves it.

I kind of want to chant "dumb as crap" after reading this thread. Ryback has shown tremendous improvement since his arrival. Sure he isn't perfect but the gospel of Punk sometimes comes off as bitchy and self centered. Ryback is over like crazy and its in large part thanks to his personality. Its rare to see personality shine in today's product. The guy is fine and should not be fired.

Has Ryback hurt anyone else other than Punk? I really like the guy, but I don't want to like him if he's completely careless/dangerous in the ring. I'm just wondering if this is an issue with Punk, or if he's known for hurting guys. The most important job for wrestlers is not hurting the other, but it's inevitable in this business. So I don't want to see Ryback getting a ton of hate just because he hurt Punk, just like X-Wrestler has hurt Y-Wrestler a million times before.

Well We had rumours and backstage news that Ryback used to hurt people. Its a old story. We knew it even if Punk wouldn't have said that. But that doesn't mean that he should be fired.

Why would the wwe fired ryback? Because cm punk says he's reckless, so what, mark henry use to be reckless so did goldberg and a lot of other monster style wrestlers over the years and none of them have fired over it. In Japan most of them use this type of wrestling and None of them were fired. So again why would wwe fired ryback? He one of the most over guy in wwe right now and it would be stupid for them to fire him over what punk said.

Who is Ryback over with? He gets hardly any pop from the crowd and his segments are the lowest rated on tv. Before the Punk interview I was talking with a friend who said he expected Ryback to be fired before Wrestlemania. Ryback is horrible in the ring, on the mic and is just plain stupid. I've heard rumors he doesn't even know how to use a basic computer. Bret Hart said it best " the art of pro wrestling is to tell a great story and have a great match while not hurting your fellow wrestler". Crapback is a disgrace to pro wrestling.
What program are you watching, ever since ryback came back, he receive major pop everywhere he went and who outside punk did he ever hurt. You just a cm punk mark that believe everything the guys say. If punk said to you that the sky is green you would believe it just because punk said it. If the wwe fired every wrestlers that have hurt somebody in the ring, you would probably have one maybe 2 guys left in the company since pretty much everybody on the roster has been reckless at some point or another during their career even cm punk.

That clothesline (cough, allegedly) got Ricky Steamboat legitimately hospitalized. I'm sure the spine buster from Otunga didn't help, but the move that did him in was the Meat Hook. Now, don't get me wrong... A decent wrestler can also almost murder a legend (looking at you, Ziggler). But put simply, if hospitalizing Ricky Steamboat didn't get Ryback fired, little will. Little, except for having no purpose on the roster.
Plenty of shitty workers have taken a spot in Vince's fold, and some reasonably well for themselves. Sid Justice, Lex Luger, even Vader. Of course, none of those names lasted longer than two years in WWE, so.... I don't know. If Ryback hurts the wrong guy (See; Cena and Orton), then he's probably fucked. But if he can avoid that...again, he did almost kill a guy, and no one says 'namn thing.
I hop they don't get rid of the Big Guy. He's one of my favorites; great look, much improved in the ring, and he can talk decently when given the chance.

This is not meant to slam the OP, but this thread is obviously a knee jerk reaction to CM Punk's podcast appearance. I mean, I understand being a huge CM Punk fan, but to suggest someone should be fired because of the comments of one man is a bit juvenile, not to mention random and meritless.
No. Ryback obviously should not be fired. If he was a huge danger to his peers to that extent that you are thinking and Punk is claiming, then he WOULD HAVE BEEN fired. But Ryback has wrestled in many matches against many opponents not named CM Punk, and they were not injured. Also, he is very over right now, and that is great to see.
I'm curious though to see if Punk's podcast changes things at all. That would be another example of someone from his couch in Chicago changing the product...

He is way over don't you watch wrestling on Raw and Smackdown he gets feed me more chants when he is and is not out in the ring. He is good in the ring and on the mic he is improving but wwe aren't really giving him that much of a chance.

I don't know if I'd describe Ryback as "way over". His pops vary from solid to mild and at one point during his last Cesaro match, the crowd temporarily seemed to turn on it (the match, not necessarily Ryback himself).
But he does get pops. Admittedly Rybacks biggest challenge right now is how he is being used. His character came across as a big self serving asshole when both the authority and Cena were trying to recruit him, then despite all the hype surrounding him, he was taken out rather unceremoniously in the Survivor Series match. Now he's having a feud with Kane, whom no one cares about. Does anybody seriously want to see 'Ryback Vs Kane' at TLC? Does anyone want to see 'Kane Vs anyone else' at TLC?
