Now, I want to start off by saying, The Undertaker in no way, shape or form NEEDS Paul Bearer when he returns. I am only suggesting that with this much time away for both men, wouldnt it make you just mark out like crazy if Paul Bearer was back with The Dead Man, even if for just a few months? Paul Bearer, IMO, is one of the more entertaining characters in recent history. His voice and look alone just demand attention, and hearing about how personable and loved he is off camera in his real life just makes me root for him even more.

Does everyone remember the epic Undertaker entrance from several years ago, after Paul Bearer had been gone for a longgg time, and we heard the Ohhhhhhh Yesssssssss? For me, one of my favorite moments in wrestling, period.

If I just answered this with a no, would it be spam? I'm thinking so. Here goes nothing then.

Well, seeing as how bringing back Paul Bearer would be like beating a dead horse with a club for about 5 hours. Exhausting, boring, and pointless of course.

1. It would be Exhausting. Well obviously, beating up a dead horse for 6 hours, would be exhausting. The first 30 minutes, would be kinda interesting maybe. Then, your arms get tired, and well, you've still got 5 1/2 grulling hours to go.

Now, how does this relate to The Undertaker teaming back up with Paul Bearer? Simple, really. The first night, people would be nostalgic about the entire thing, hell maybe even the first few weeks. Then, we would get bored of it, because well, the Undertaker/Paul Bearer storyline is a deadhorse.

2. Boring. After hitting a dead horse for about 3 hours repeatedly, don't you think it would get boring? Obviously, it would. The Undertaker/Paul Bearer storyline was done for nearly a deacade. After a week or two, they would have to go through with whatever boring storyline they can pull out of their butts, then realize, "We've still got 3 hours to go, I'm bored as dangit"

3. Pointless. In the end, you beat a dead horse for 6 hours with a club, or stick, hell I don't know what people beat dead horses with these days. You manage to bloody it up, a little bit. Then you realize something. That was the most pointless 6 hours of your life, and you accomplished nothing.

How does this relate to The Undertaker/Paul Bearer storyline, simple really. The Undertaker doesn't need Paul. Paul, being the manager that he is, isn't there for anything, but to promote his superstar. If the superstar doesn't need the manager, it would be completely pointless, a storyline like this would take a few months to unfold, it will be pointless, and quite frankly I don't want what could be the Undertakers last year, to be cluttered by a pointless storyline everyone will remember him by..

I think bringing paul bearer would be quite a shock only to see the real deadman come back to life as he was when he first started before brother love. This would lead to undertaker being champion ..it could work magic. Or how about him as GM

I have to say no way. Undertaker's character and mic skills were killed by Paul Bearer when they were together and Undertaker really seemed like a zombie at that point. Undertaker doesn't need Paul and managers only use in wrestling is to make there wrestler big. Well if Undertaker is already, one of, if not the best ever, why would he need a manager? Makes no sense. Now I say, put Bearer with Kane and let's get back to the big read machine and stop making Kane out to be a pussy. That would be great!

Now? No.

However, I've been working under the assumption that Taker's last match will most likely be with Kane. If that's the case, I'd love to see them bring Paul Bearer back a few months before they start that feud. When time comes down to it, Kane DESTROYS Paul Bearer to start off the feud. It'd be a nice little spark instead of just having Kane cut some "I don't like my brother" promo that everyone else can always do with tag partners and siblings and whatnot. When you close the book on the Undertaker's story, you definitely have to be adding Kane and Paul Bearer into the mix, so why not go all out nostalgia and full circle? This means even having Kane go back to an older version of his costume. People bitch and complain all the time saying "the mask is useless now that we know what he looks like", but then why does Mysterio wear a mask? Why does Sting put face paint on? Its just to look cool, and you know people would mark out if Kane put the mask back on - and you know he'd look less like a tool if he was covering up that big gut of his. So you'd bring back a fun character (Paul Bearer), bring back the Kane that actually MATTERED, and you'd be having the final "Cain/Abel" type of match between the two fictional brothers.

If you were to do an angle like that, then Paul Bearer would have to be a part of it. But right now, there's absolutely no need to bring him back, because as far as we've been told, Taker isn't going to be retiring at WM26.

It would be nice for Paul Bearer to come back with the Undertaker but they should save it for when he retires. I loved when he returned for WM 20 but we know what transpired from that at the Great American Bash. It would be nice for Undertaker to go out with Bearer by his side. Most likely his last feud will be with Kane and some great storylines can come out of that.

I'd say yeah, just because I miss the dude, when I was a kid I wanted to punch him in the face, but in time I found respect for him. Bearer and 'Taker would turn heads of most of the fans, not counting the kiddies and newbies. And it would sell mosr tickets, and possibly bring back some more old fans, the way I see it, bringing back Bearer with 'Taker would be a good fianancial move, and awesome storylines can emerge from it.

Well technically Paul Bearer is 'dead'....unless he survived being encased in cement by the Undertaker that is, although I suppose that wouldn't stop them bringing him back (remember this is WWE and things don't have to make sense).

As most people have mentioned Taker doesn't need Bearer, hence why he was killed off years ago (although I think his health was poor as well at the time) but I have to admit that I found them pretty entertaining when they were together....they just seemed to mesh well in my opinion. I suppose if they managed to conjure up a semi-believable explanation into bringing Bearer back that I wouldn't totally object to it, although at this late stage of his career Taker doesn't need a manager at all. But for the sake of nostalgia it would be nice in a way....I think Bearer and Kane may have more potential though.

no.of course not.its said that taker will retire soon, and the only possible rivalry i can think off is bearer turning on taker.that already happened, and if it didn`t,wwe creative would just have bearer join someone like ziggler,khali,etc...

WOW,no fate, you were my favorite poster, but this post sucks.you`re just like wwe creative, thinking:"WE HAD A GOOD BROTHER RIVALRY WITH THE HARDYZ A FEW MONTHS AGO,SO WHY NOT MAKE IT AGAIN.ONLY THIS TIME WITH A HALF BROTHER".face it,it hapened in 1999 i think, and recycling rivalries rivalries sucks

Meh. I never really even found him too entertaining in his hayday. Managers are usually meant for people who can't speak for themselves or used to give a nice rub to an up and comer. Besides, Paul looked horrible in his last run, I could only imagine what he looks like. Isn't he "dead" anyway?

This ones pretty simple. Hell no. Takers done a fine job cutting promos and being mega over with everyone on his own for the past few years. We dont need anymore Kane/Undertaker/Paul Bearer storylines.

Do most of you want the wrestling product we already have to suffer even more by filling it with more bullshit? Seriously?

I would absolutely love to see it.

But .... Vince does not believe in managers any longer. He simply does not want them around. So it would never happen.

With Vince's more realistic approach to his product, and trying to make it less gimmicky, there is no way I would see him doing it.

However, do I think he should be brought back? Absolutely. As pointed out, those two are just great together, and I think a lot of older fans would love to see the guy back. There are always so many more angles you can do when managers are involved ... but Vince seems to not care about any of that anymore.

I would definitely like to see Paul Bearer come back one more time. It would probably be for The Undertaker’s last match. It just wouldn’t feel right having The Undertaker retire without having Paul Bearer at ringside with him. He was with The Undertaker for a long time in the 90’s and even was on opposite sides of him. He has been a big part of Undertaker’s career and it would not be right to not have him there. If they decided to bring Paul back, it would make the moment even better if they decided to bring back the urn too. But to answer the OP’s question, yes it would be nice if they brought back Paul for ‘Taker’s last match and it would be purely for nostalgia’s sake.
