Should Chris Harris Return?

I heard the rumor that the fake twitter guy who claims to be a TNA emplyee cllaimed that TNA plans on bringing Harris back at BFG...

So my question is, Would anyone want to see Harris return?

I know he doesn't have much charisma, but I went to a house show recently and I got some old DVDs... Harris had some great matches and I don't think it would be to bad of an idea to bring harris back for another run...

Thoughts?

Another run for what – a third incredibly mediocre singles run? Sorry, but this "Wildcat" is about as entertaining as a fat house cat who sits on the same piece of furniture for 18 hours a day.

Chris Harris is nothing without James Storm, and right now, James Storm is working one of the biggest angles of his career with Beer Money, Inc. and Fortune. Bringing Harris back would be like bringing Marty Jannetty back to Shawn Michaels a year ago – utterly pointless.

Maybe if they bring back America's Most Wanted with Jon Moxley as his partner!Than yeah this will be great, AMW vs Beer Money would be epic!Moxley fits the cowboy character to a tee and with harris this could be huge for TNA and the fans of AMW who have been there since day one and remember AMW as a great tag team and one of the best in TNA history!

AMW was a great tag team, but what could Harris do for TNA? If they bring him back, what would TNA gain from it? They damn sure won't break up Beer Money for him. There's no room for him on the roster, in fact, they need to trim it down some (although letting Homicide go before a ton of others still chaps my ass, but thats for another place). The point is that its useless to bring in another person when you already dont have time for 70% of your roster that have been patiently waiting to be used. The only exception to that would be Knockouts because they need more.

if he can return to pre tna release harris i can see him going after the tv title..... seems right b4 his release(his last fued with storm where he seemingly bloated up) and then his wwe debut he just let his body go..... i dont see him headlining but i can see him making a run at the tv title if he returns to top form.... hes alot better(when in shape) than say ey,jordan, terry ect ect who seem to be guys that would legit go after the tv title

Just found that funny ass youtube video about Braden Walker's WWE "career" not sure who has or hasn't seen it, but I thought it was fucking harious so I posted a link...

I like the idea of a reformed AMW to fued with Beer Money... Not really familiar with Jon Moxely though...

He was out of shape though in those WWE clips, maybe he has gotten back into ring shape...

Maybe Slim Master J would be a good partner... He is a Gordy and it would be cool to see him do a cowboy gimmick and I always saw some potential in him...

But, I do agree that TNA has a crowded roster and I wish they would push the issue of having Xplosion on Spike on maybe a Sunday night would do alright with halping use some of their talent that doesn't make it on Impact every week...

I have said before, that I think TNA should bring back Chris Harris and here's how I'd do it. After the Fourtune Ev2 feud, I would have Fourtune turn on AJ styles. In the process, Robert Roode would become the top guy in Fourtune setting up a feud between Roode and Styles. Storm now needs a partner. In steps Chris Harris.

You know the TNA crowd would pop for AMW. I would. I loved those guys. I think they could get the titles back from MCMG and have one more feud with the Dudleys.

There's one thing wrong with your analogy of Harris and Storm to Jannetty and Michaels. Storm really isn't in a better position then when he was on AMW. After he and Harris split up, he had one singles feud with Rhyno and went right back to a tag team with Roode. Storm is and will always be a tag-team wrestler and it's ridiculous to compare him to Michaels. When Storm wins multiple singles titles, then we can talk but for now he's basically the same as Harris.

Wait, wait, people dog Chris Harris for being a bit out of shape at one part of his career? What about James Storm? He's gained weight and starting to look fat, yet everyone turns a blind eye to him because he's part of a successful tag team? What else has he done? He's been part of two successful tag teams, his singles run was forgettable, and he has no accomplishments at all aside from his tag team championships.

I agree, James Storm is on the same level as Chris Harris. Why? Because people seem to focus far too much on the whole Braden Walker thing and forget about Chris Harris's entire career before that. He was great in America's Most Wanted, and he was even fine as a singles star. He had just as memorable a singles run as James Storm did if people don't use their own revisionist histories.

I actually do think Robert Roode would make a far better heel main eventer then AJ Styles, and I'd much rather see Robert Roode as the main guy in Fourtune over Styles. Turn Styles face, that's where he belongs and if it wasn't for past their prime wrestlers playing politics and grasping at the position of the top Face in TNA then AJ Styles would be there, as he SHOULD. Robert Roode would be a far better guy to have the top spot in Fourtune, then if TNA wanted they could definitely bring Chris Harris back and reunite America's Most Wanted as the tag team of Fourtune down the road. It's really not that bad of an idea. Is it likely? No. Do I care either way? Not really.

I do think people bash Chris Harris for a very small part of his career, dismissing the much longer part of his career where he was a good performer, had great matches, was part of the most successful team in TNA history, and even had a few bright spots on his own such as a few challenges in the main event and for the World title. He's not as bad as people with short term memory syndrome make him out to be.

LOL I understood what he was saying. I don't think anyone on this message board would truthfully think that James Harris and Shawn Michaels are comparable.

Storm is in a much better spot than he was with AMW. Chris Harris was lousy. Storm is in a main event angle and just had a GREAT series of matches with MCMG. Beer Money is one of the best tag teams in wrestling right now...including indies. They are FANTASTIC.

I also firmly believe he is strictly a tag team wrestler. AMW was good together, but Chris Harris just was blah, Robert Roode has a better character, and is just a whole lot better in the ring. The chemistry with Beer Money is also a big thing.

I think if you brought Harris back with say....Trevor Rhodes as AMW. Then feud them with Beer Money...but even still you only have 2 pay per views of matches with them. Beer Money will stick around, AMW won't. Harris has no real value to TNA at all.

I would like to see Chris Harris back in TNA. I dont think he has much to offer as a singles wrestler but thats not always a terrible thing, its fine to have a good career as a tag team specialist!

They WILL NOT break up Beer Money to reform AMW, but Harris could return and the storyline could be with him trying to persuade Storm to re-team up with him, with Storm resisting. Harris could try and bribe him with offers of beer/ sleazy women or anything a redneck cowboy would want, but Storm still refuses to leave Beer Money.

Eventually Harris would get fed up and assualt his former partner, then return with a new partner as the re-incarnation of AMW, leading to a series of matches with Beer Money, which would be fantastic. Beer Money would probably have to be the champions at this point however for the feud to get much recognition on the card, but once Beer Money ahve the belts back in the future, I think this could work.

What do u guys reckon?

Harris wouldn't be the worst person TNA brought in considering some of the names they brought in from the extreme invasion. I just don't think fans would care about Harris. He was definitely apart of TNA tag team history with James Storm. They did put on classic matches, but I'll take Beer Money any day over AMW. Bringing in Harris again would be like bringing in Tomko. They had a place in TNA early on, but that has changed now. I'm not going to deny the guy's credibility wrestling with James Storm as tag team champions years ago in AMW. Maybe he could still go, but I have no interest in seeing him. TNA needs to get rid of talent they aren't using instead of hiring useless talent.
