Sheamus To The Next Level

Dark Match Jobber
Firstly, I think sheamus is absolutely top class. He is the future of the company and I love his aggressive offense and his music. I would love to see this young guy face stone cold steve austin at wrestlemania 29. What a brawl this would be. The two wrestlers would definetly compliment each other!
What you think?

Look for Sheamus to win the Royal Rumble. He's beginning to get recognized as one of the company main bearers.
A match against Stave Austin seems highly unlikely, though. If Austin were to face anyone it would be CM Punk, but even that seems unlikely (and DEFINITELY won't happen this year).

(Never liked his music, though.)

Sheamus is definitely badass, thank you so kindly for your analysis.

The way they both brawl, and they're both high energy steam engines when they get going. Would a Austin/Sheamus match look incredible? Yea, I believe it would.

I don't want to see it happen though, if only cause I don't care very much for these "one more match" deals. They take a lotta wind out of the rest of the shows sails... look at the Rock/Cena syndrome. With no one else qualified to challenge Punk's reign, they had to bring in another return!

Besides, all Austin has really acknowledged in WWE would be Punk and the net is eating it up. Just don't getcha hopes to high for the Sheamus match, mmkay lil fella?

Sheamus to me is the next big thing and my fav wrestler right now(other than Cena). He has an awesome look and he can wrestle good. He is okay on the mic but just with a little improvement i think he can be on top. One thing that i think made Austin so good was that his fighting style in the ring matched his character. Sheamus' fighting style is the same thing. I hope Sheamus goes all the way some time soon because he is great.

Sheamus is one of the most likely candidates to win the Royal Rumble in my opinion. Booking him to win and face a heel Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania would be great and could be a possible show-stealer.

Sheamus is my favorite wrewstler in the E right now. I always think of Austin's shirt "Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave". You can go all through these forums & read my complimenting him, so I'll speak on his negatives to play Devil's Advocate.

1. Theme Music- Is the guy thats singing the song Irish? If so, thats cool and all, but I dont understand what he's saying at all. His 1st line sounds like, "Its a shameful thing, Lobsterhead!" Its not anything Sheamus could work on, but I would hate for him to be like my fave, the Hitman. You know how when you think of Hogan, Warrior, Stone Cold, & the Rock, and you're running all the memories of them in your mind? And when you're doing flashbacks, you got their entrance on your brain too? You never do that with Bret. His entrance music was ok for its time(barely), but they should've upgraded his tune either before or when he became a top dog.

2. Smiling- I don't get why all the faces have to smile. Orton, Punk, & Sheamus are no nonsense characters. With the way they smile, I'm surprised they don't come out throwing the action figure versions to themselves to the crowd. Everyone isn't Cena!

3. Wee Ol Ireland- I don't know what they try to get out of his stories he occasionally tells. but since I watch SD on DVR, I know to fast forward when he has a mic. I like his promos when he isn't talking nonsense, but thats far & few between.

Sheamus is my favorite to win this year's Royal Rumble. He has World Heavyweight Championship written all over him and I think it's damn near time to push him to the next level. It's the question of when the WWE will give him something relevant enough to do other than pointless squashes and Jinder Mahal matches?

Sheamus is the answer to Orton's absence on Smackdown. While he doesn't have the presence Orton brought along with him to the blue brand, Sheamus is certainly over enough for the position of the brand's top face. Ever since Christian was injured, Sheamus has had nothing relevant to do other than beating down the occasional jobber. He's far too over to just simply waste. The WWE needs to quickly capitalize of his popularity. Lately, we've seen Sheamus get involved in Barrett's business and I like what I see. While many see Sheamus' matches with Jinder as pointless, I believe the WWE is using him to elevate a very not-over Mahal. That certainly means Sheamus is moving forward to the stage where he's able to put someone over just by feuding with them.

Sorry, but I just don't see it. The guy has size but he doesn't entertain me and he doesn't carry a charisma that appeals to me. I know there are a lot of people on here that are big Sheamus marks and he generally gets a good reaction from the crowd but I just don't see it. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Sheamus has already been world champion twice now, there's really no level beyond that except for more world championships. I think that WWE has been developing some bad habits of pushing guys to the world title scene that aren't ready for it, and Sheamus was no exception. I feel he should have gotten an extended run with the US or IC titles instead of being shouldered with an experimental WWE title reign.

Nowadays, it's evident that Sheamus is in a better position to shoulder a world title reign than he was three years ago. The only bad thing is that when he wins the title again, it's going to seem less important IMO since his other two reigns were forgettable. All the magic and suspense of watching someone who deserves the top spot finally get there is gone because that person has already been on top in some fashion.
