Shawn Michaels.

Spunky

Lovable degenerate.
I honestly cannot remember seeing him since Wrestlemania 25.

After that epic encounter, I was expecting a big to-do about it being the best match ever, Then someone challenge him for the mantle, Saying they could have had a better match. It's weird not seeing him, As I thought he was on great form pre-wrestlemaina.

Trust me, I know. Raw seems pointless without him. He was my focus, now I don't know what to give all my attention to. As far as I'm aware, his latest return date will be the end of July, because of 'nagging knee injuries'. This is upsetting because if he really is planning on retiring next Wrestlemania it's cutting into the lack of time we already have with him in the ring.

I didn't know he was injured, I just thought he was taking the month off, Afterall his was busy before WM25. I'm not the biggest HBK fan in the world, But it has been a little weird not hearing " HA HA HA, I think i'm cute". It's a shame he is injured, Becasue Cm Punk vs Kane wouldn't be at Backlash then. :D

He's taking a time off until Late July from nagging injuries, he deserves it
that is funny, i heard reports that taker had some nagging injures as well. edge too. but yeah it does kinda suck without him. but hey, maybe his return will actually bare some significance.

Yeah, Taker has had knee problems for quite some time now. Seriously, at WM25, When Taker jumped over the ropes only to land on his head when he collided with the camera man, I though his neck had broken. He should take some time off anyways, so should HBK. They are two of the top earning and way over wrestlers in the WWE. With out them, WWE isn't as great because the brands would have 2 less hall of famers.
HBK probably injured his back again.
One question that i have though, Is SCSA the youngest inductee to the hall of fame?

I just hope he has enough time to squeeze in all the matches we want to see before he retires.

We still need to see HBK vs Punk, HBK vs Morrisson and HBk vs MVP, all of which could be classics. Lets hope he squeezes in as many matches as possible between his return and Mania 26. And perhaps one more ladder match.

He said in an interview that his Ladder match with Chris Jericho was his last...He said his body was too beaten up after that match that it was definately his last Ladder match so I doubt we'll see HBK in another Ladder Match...But I agree, all those matches would be classics aswell as HBK vs Ted Dibiase.

Let's NOT squeeze as many matches in before he retires. What are you trying to do to him? Do you really think we'd see much of quality if that's how WWE worked Shawn for the next year, especially when he's already off with injuries now?

And Morrison is the only one of those that really needs to be done. Punk I can see, but MVP has got worse, I wouldn't care if he never got a match with Shawn.

MVP is awful. He's just going to be exposed when HBK gets a Kennedy-level match out of him. Let people keep their illusions about MVP.

Morrison I can see because even WWE knows about the comparisons. Punk I can see because of where he is on the card.

Michaels putting any of them over? That's another thing.

I'm not too gutted about HBK not being around ATM. That match with Undertaker was the last real thing he NEEDED to do. Now it's just Shawn going for however long he wants but there isn't much to do. Shawn doesn't need more matches with Cena, Triple H, Jericho, Edge, Orton, or Batista. If anything, the only fresh matches left for him are a few bouts with midcarders who he won't put over or a feud with Big Show. I'd like both, but neither are screaming necessity.

I think it's best suited to see legitimate well done storylines as opposed to "squeezing in" as many matches as possible. Also where did HBK say that Wrestlemania 26 was his last match? I believe he said it could be his last WrestleMania match. As for Morrsion/ HBK, that won't be a match we'll see at WrestleMania. If you guys want that match on a bigger stage ppv then look at SummerSlam as HBK's return feud.

yea, as soon as i read the austin being the youngest, the name eddie immediately popped in my head. haha. i really want to see an hbk/morrison feud. that would be awesome. other than that, i can't really see what else i'd want hbk a part of. i'm sure wwe or shawn will come up with something. i'm happy to hear that he's healing nagging injuries before is supposed last run. the guy deserves the time off.

HBK's rest is well deserved.
In my mind I think Shawn is resting up before he gets back on the road again
for his final run.
I see him returning around Night of Champions /Great American Bash / Summerslam time.
I think the return will spark DX reuniting, and a power struggle with Legacy for control
of RAW. Perhaps they will even embrace a younger talent on the RAW roster
as a honorary member of DX to even the numbers.
Not that Shawn and Triple H would need it.
That might mean the Trips/ Orton angle has worn very thin by then.
But hey perhaps they will have a different feud in between, and re-ignite the
Trips/ Orton thing around Shawns return time. Similar to the way Triple H
saved Shawn Michaels from The Spirit Squad. But vice versa.
This will of course build Triple H and Shawn Michaels side by side, perhaps
even capturing the Unified Tag belts, not that they would need them, but
it could help raise the prestigue of them within their division.
This will culminate in both men realising there is no one else for
them to beat. Shawn turns to Triple H and tells him.
"There's one man I have yet to beat, definitively."
Setting up Shawn Michaels retirement match at
wrestlemania 26 against Triple H.

Hmm..?
