My personal favorite is The Triple Threat Match at WM 20.... yes Michaels wasnt the focal point but it was the greatest triple threat match i ve seen and had a great ending.

i have to go with Michaels vs Kurt on this one, it had a good lead up to mania with the whole thing at the rumble and it was just a brilliant technical match up between two of the best in the industry, i did want Michaels to win but i wasn't overall bothered that Angle won because he is a brilliant in ring performer...anyways thats my pick

First I'd like to say, damn Pepen you're on a roll with these threads, keep them coming!

I'm actually pretty torn, having praised Shawn vs Undertaker for quite a while, having said it was absolutely great, and perhaps one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches ever.
I don't think I need to go over again why I think this match was absolutely awesome, if you really care enough to read why, go read the "Undertakers greatest WM match of all times"

On the other hand, I wouldn't hesitate at all to say Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho hands down.
The build up was awesome, the whole Idol vs idolizer / kid who doesn't wanna live in the shadows anymore (shawn vs Chris Jericho in that order)
Also the match in itself was absolutely awesome, the resemblance between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho were amazing, also during the build up, with the pictures of Jericho doing Shawn stuff.
The match had numerous ways to make Jericho look like a younger / new HBK, the superkick in specifics, I must admit I went "damn" when Jericho started to stomp the mat.
Also the commentators really helped to build this match into an instant classic.

Hell, writing this I actually think I just made a choice, Shawn Michaels greatest Wrestlemania match, is Shawn vs Jericho.

Edit: And ofcourse I won't throw off the credit of the Iron Man match, one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches ever, yet I just loved the match with Jericho a little bit more in the end.

Hard to say but I honestly think its between his match with Jericho and his match with Taker. His match his Jericho was just phenomenal and like Lawler said its like watching a mirror image of each other which I think was great accolades with Jericho, and not to mention it wasn't the usual traditional finish that we expected, it wasn't a sweet chin music or a walls of jericho, but it was a quick roll by HBK to pick up a surprising and shocking win.

His match with Taker was equally exciting but mainly due to the fact that just by how it went up and down, multiple finishers by Taker and Shawn I honestly thought it would happen and the streak would end I was left wondering much like I am hoping I will be at WM26.

No Contest, Taker vs Michaels WrestleMania 25. The Storytelling, Psychologie, drama and all was just perfect. A perfectly choreographed match and the crowd knows it. Wonderful, flawless match, and this match is considererd as the best WrestleMania match of all time! Its not just Michaels best WM match, its his best match in his entire career id say. Its still tie between Angle Vs Michaels from WrestleMania 21 and the one against Taker at WrestleMania 25, but id really say the best Mania match of Michaels would be really the match against Taker at WM 25.


The match against Ramon was great! Also the match against Hart, even the match against Cena was nice, but the best would be really Michaels Vs Taker, WM 25.

Gotta go with HBK/Hitman at 12. The match was unique and the first (I think) Ironman match in the WWE. The match had drama and was back and forth throughout and it had neither man picking up a pinfall during the one hour time limit. Then Hart walking out thinking it was a draw only for an overtime period added and HBK finally accomplishes his lifelong dream. A great moment and a great match.

I Have 3 matches that are all pretty close
1A.HBK/Hitman Was One Of The Greatest matches ever and His First World Title win.
1B.HBK/Razor Ramon Set the standards for ladder matches and one of his biggest matches even though he lost.
1C.HBK.Angle it was a complete technical masterpiece two of the best of all time going at it. It's funny how some of his best matches are losses!!!

Gosh just look at all of those matches, and every single one of them is a classic. I love Shawn's more recent work such as the Triple Threat at WM20. That was just such a great match. I remember HBK standing in the ring, bloody, looking to the outside at HHH and pointing at himself, "You...and me." It was just so good. That said, I am still going to have to go with HBK-Undertaker from last year. Not only was it a perfect match, it contained two of my all time WWE favorites. Just an unbelievable match, and it has got to be #1 if not, top 3.

Shawn vs Kurt Angle was an awesome match. Last year match was great also and Flair's retirement one was on a higher level from an emotional pov but the one against Angle was a great show of wrestling at any level.

The Iron Man obviously deserves to be mentioned too.

I'll have to go with his Wrestlemania 21 match against Angle. Personally I think the match they had at Vengeance 2005 was better than the Wrestlemania 21 match, but the Mania match was still awesome. HBK and Angle went all out in this match. The constant battling back and forth between this two towards the end of this match was just amazing. This match stole the show, and it was easily the best on the card.

Shawn Michaels is the best wrestler to ever live and I think every single one of his matches are golden and I can't remember one bad match he had with anyone, but I am pretty sure he has had one, but here are in my opinion his greatest WrestleMania matches:

1. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho
- Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels are two people who I can watch have a match over and over again and not get bored like I did when I kept on seeing Randy Orton vs Triple H over and over again. But the events leading up to their match was so good that I actually watched them over again and again.

2. Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle
- Kurt Angle, like Chris Jericho, is another wrestler than I can watch have a match with Shawn Michaels over and over again. As like his match with Jericho, the promos leading up to this match was just incredible. Best part of the match was when Angle was yelling at Michaels to just give up and then out of no where he blasts Angle with Sweet Chin Music.

3. Shawn Michaels vs Vince McMahon
- I know this may sound weird, but the thing I really like about this match was that it was hardcore and it may it seem real to me. Vince McMahon may be stupid all the time, but he can have some good moments and funny ones too like at the end.

And before I end this I know I didn't mention Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker and that is because I wanted to list other matches besides that one since it was the greatest match in WrestleMania history in my opinion.

Interesting that shawn's recent wrestling matches following a consistent win loss pattern. Wonder if that helps with predicting this years wrestlemania match....

The Kurt Angle vs HBK match is a close second because Kurt was really on fire that match and HBK was very good that night, but I thought his match against undertaker was the best. HBK and Undertaker were both Epic. Bring on the rematch!

I am 100% for his match with Kurt Angle as his best. I can honestly say I have watched this match at very the least 100 times. It is pretty much everything you can ask for in a match without over doing it.

My close second would be the Iron man match. I respect this performance due to the fact that they actually went a solid hour (which is very difficult to do when you consider that you have to keep the entire crowd/audience interested for an hour). For me though it comes down to which match I could go back and watch multple times and still learn from.

I vote Wrestlemania 21 as my favourite but the Iron Man match as the Greatest match of his.

oh good questine.... definitly shawn vs kurt i like the whole lead up to the match and it was such a back and forth match i didnt care who won in the end. I do think shawn and bret was phenominal but iam a hitman fan and was pissed when he lost.

Shawn has never had a bad WM match so this is a tough question to answer. I'm going to pick 2 matches that stand out in mind.

WM 10 vs Razor Ramon..... The Ladder match. This was the 1st of it's kind at least that I saw anyway. The way the ladder was being used, thown around was something that I was in total awe of. The high risk moves HBK did off the top of the ladder were unforgetable. Great match that paved the way for future Ladder Matches.

WM 12 vs Bret Hart... This was a great match. Not meant for fans with short attention spans but the the wrestling fan that appricates a good, clean, techincal match. Another reason is because it was an Iron Man match that went over 60 minutes that's something that was rare in in WWE in those times. Lastly this is where HBK won his 1st World title and it finished a great backstory/storyline.

My least favourite have to be his first 5 matches because they never copared to the rest.

#11 - HBK vs McMahon - it wasn't to bad but it was just HBK owning McMahon, the highlight was the dive on McMahon on a table, overall 4.0 out of 5.0

#10 - HBK vs Triple H vs Benoit - it was a good match, but it was not that much of a good match for HBK. I was happy for Benoit but it wasn't HBK best. Overall match rating 4.5 out of 5.0

#9 - HBK vs Austin - I liked the match alot, and was proud of Austin for winning. However, I was more proud of Shawn, because of how well he made the match even with that back injury. Overall Match Rating 4.0 out of 5.0

#8 - HBK vs Diesel - I really like HBK in this match and though to myself, why didn't Diesel put Shawn over. But Shawn made the match great. A shame, the match really should've been in the mainevent, not Bam Bam whatshisname vs a guy from another sport. Overall match rating 4.0 out of 5.0

#7 - HBK vs Cena - Siriously, it was a great match. And a great way to boost Cenas career on the grandest stage of them all. The electricity surrounding the match was awesome. Overall match rating 4.5 out of 5.0

#6 - HBK vs Jericho -great match, in fact, that was maybe one of my fave matches of jericho. Shawn proved that he was indeed heeled from his back injury, and made a Wrestlemania classic.

#5 - HBK vs Flair - Wooo!!! Man, what a match. HBK made Flair look really good in that match. Shawn's hesitation to beat Flair made it so entertaining I was on the edge of my seat for this match. Overall match rating 4.0 out of 5.0

#4 - HBK vs Kurt Angle - The promos leading to the match were awesome, and the match. WOAH! From that match on, I knew HBK would be bound to go into the Hall of Fame. Great match! Overall match rating 4.75 out of 5.0

#3 - HBK vs Razor Ramon -Woah! Did HBK just leap onto Ramon? Who brave enough to climb that ladder? Before the Money in The bank, before TLC matches, HBK and Razor Ramon revolutionized the ladder match. In 1994, a moonsault or a high flying move wasn't as common as nowadays. And HBK and Ramon made history! Overall match rating 5.0 out of 5.0

#2 - HBK vs The Undertaker - Could HBK beat the streak and make it 16-1? Well he didn't but he and The Undertaker made history that night. From Chokeslams to Tombstone and Eblow drops to Superkicks, these two men risked it all to win this one. In fact the match was so good, they have decided to do it again at WM 26, a match that should be! Overall match rating 5.0 out of 5.0

#1 - HBK vs Bret Hart - What a damn match! These two men locked it up for Bret Harts WWE championship in a 60 minute iron man match for the ages! HBKs entrance to the ring was a highlight in itself, let alone the title match itself. The match went back and forth, back and forth and after 1 solid hour no got a pinfall or submission meaning that Hart retains the WWE Title. However, Gorilla Monsoon orders the match to sudden death, THERE MUST BE A WINNER! HBK then gives Hart a superkick and then the last dose of Sweat Chin Music. 1 2 3! HBK wins! HBK wins! The Boyhood dream has come true! Overall match rating 10.0 out of 5.0!
