Euphemism by definition is "the substitution of an agreeable or inoffensive expression for one that may offend or suggest something unpleasant". If you are replacing lack of intelligence with promise you are doing just that.

I was not aware that "Youthanism" was common slang. Even if it is, using urban dictionary as a credible source does not help you seem more intelligent. I also highly suspect whoever put it on there was just using it as a slap to the face towards the many people that mispronounce euphemism. Another way that using the slang makes you seem less intelligent is the fact that you were using it over a proper word that you didn't understand.

Now address my comment about euthanasia. I am far more interested in this now.

No I wasn't thinking of euthanasia, I was saying that if used the word 'euphemism' I would be inferring that the word 'promise' was used to replace the phrase of him doing a crude action.
