Wow a great Smackdown, and no Triple H, what more could you ask for.

So Mick Foley wins Promo of the Year, hands down, everything else is just second place.

Taker/Mankind HIAC may be one of the most overrated matches in history, the only reason anyone remembers it is because of the two big bumps from Foley, you take those out of that match and there isn't really anything else about it that is all that memorable

To be fair, Foley did take two bumps off the cage, and managed to put on a halfway decent match with a tooth sticking threw his nose and a dislocated shoulder. The match may have been crap, but it's probably the most memorable match of the last 20 years.

It also led to a gem by Foley in one of his books with the Flair maybe a 16 time world champion, but more people will remember me for taking a fall off of a cage, so true, so true.

So like, I missed Smackdown tonight and from the bit I'm catching from the LD, it rocked?

Fuck.

Would like to comment that this must be the most active Smackdown LD I've seen awhile, seems it really is becoming the A-show or at least close to it.

The last segment with Edge and Foley was fucking wicked. Best thing I've seen on SD for months, if not years. Foley did a fantastic job of building up the hell in the cell match between Edge and Taker. Foley's mic work was absolutely insane. I forgot just how good he is on the mic.

Edge really is the man on SD right now. Fuck HHH.

SD > RAW! I am really pleased with SD right now. Almost everybody is more watchable, that Kennedy/Shelton match was great and even Kendrick is doing a bang up job now! I like his style more now than when he was face with that slouch London! Edge/Taker so far IS going to be the match of summerslam. Just a great show, I am watching SD from now on. Just pissed it is not airing here next week due to football.
