The old HIAC matches will never be topped. Taker and Michaels was amazing because we'd never seen it before, the build up was perfect, and the ending was legendary. Mankind/Taker, there's no way that's going to be topped, ever. They're still great matches, but not up to their old levels.

Yeah but it's those two bumps that make the rest of the match work. It sets the story of Foley is barely walking the rest of the match. If you take Hogan's slam of Andre out, that match is still remembered for it's importance to the business but it loses a lot of it's memory.
