He's probably going to sweep all three, which is surprising.
What's not surprising is how big of a clown Santorum is. He's a better challenge to Romney than Gingrich, I give him that, I've always felt that the far right conservatives were backing the wrong horse in Gingrich, I feel that Santorum has always been the best anyone-but-Romney vote. That aside, Santorum runs on social policies - anti-abortion, against gay-marriage, tough on immigration - that's not going to win you a general election.
You're a strong anti-abortionist, that just lost you a lot of female votes.
You're strongly against gay marriage, you just lost the gay vote.
You're tough on immigration, that just lost you a lot of Hispanic vote.
You're not Obama and not black, you just lost most of the Black vote.
What he does have going for him is backing of the evangelical Christians, which unfortunately (for Santorum) won't carry you all the way to the White House. The only good to come from this is that the Gingrich/Romney battle is subsiding and the Santorum/Romney/Gingrich feuding begins.

Santorum is the guy who said that even if a woman is raped she shouldn't get an abortion and you say Ron Paul is the biggest whack job?. Can I ask why you feel that way Slyfox you always get on everyone else case for not explaing themselves but you failed to do so. I always have a hard time trusting politicians. Your average politician isn't a good person But Ron Paul has been good this whole time and is the best candidate to choose from. All Mitt and Newt are in this for is to help out there rich friends. Ron Paul is the only president candidate who is against the war He is the only presidential candidate who doesn't shove his religious views down our throats, since when do have to be a man of god to be president anyways. He is the only one whose says things that make sense when he speaks and is the only one who speaks the truth. The reason he doesn't get media coverage like the other two is because these big corporations own all the major stations and Ron Paul is against them. As much as Ron Paul would change our country for the best I think he was ever president it would be similar to JFK he wanted to change the world but Lyndon B Johnson and his friends didn't like it so set up the whole assination. Ron Paul would do well for our country unlike any of the other candidates. Although I wonder if the President is a real thing. The President of the United of the United States is kind of like how Jack Tunney was president of WWF. All he was a voice he never made any rules the corporations are the ones who really call the shots.

Ron Paul is awesome. I love his ideas and way of thinking, although his foreign policy is a bit extremist for my taste and I have noticed a lot of people (at least people at my school) seem to not really understand his foreign policy. I don't think he'll be president but he's definitely not unelectable like people have tried claiming.

Only sometimes. When he's criticizing other politician's plans, he sounds great. When he speaks for HIS plans, he sounds like a whackjob.
All these conspiracy theorists. No the reason he doesn't get media coverage is because his ideas for running a country are asinine. The fact he hasn't gotten media coverage is one of the biggest reasons people actually still think he deserves to be President.

1: Yes, because such actions would cripple the working class.
2: He can talk about it all he wants; he likely knows that he's powerless to change something only Congress can change but that he'll rope in a few stupid potheads just for flying the green flag.
3: As has been pointed out, he called out the Real Estate crash, and to be frank it's not like he was the only one who saw that coming.
4: Outsmarting GOP candidates is hardly anything to brag about.
5: Yeah, ok. Again, plenty of people "in the know" back then gave these warnings. He's not a psychic.

I don't agree with all his views like the fact that he is Pro Life. I think that Still he would probably end up being a better choice than Santorum(who is the real biggest whack job) Mitt or Newt. Even as a supporter I don't think that he would win I just try to have hope. After the 2000 election I stopped believing in voting because after that election we all found out our votes were pointless. The biggest problem I have is how if Ron Paul wants to make pot legal why should he have to go to congress. There’s your proof right there that a President is only a voice. I thought that President decides what right for our country; he is the one who should make the rules. If you read my other thread on legalizing marijuana in the wrestling potluck section, you will find out all the benefits from it. America is corrupt and controlled by corporations. I have a hard time trusting politicians Ron Paul doesn't have my full trust but he makes sense a lot of the time when he talks I finally registered to vote(something I said I would never do) after reading in to some of things Ron Paul wanted to do for our country I registered. At the end of the day we’ll probably just end up have some corporate prick elected president. It’s sad because it seems like to be president you have to be a man of god be rich and have billionaire friends who help pay for your campaign

Listen to the man, read his policies and it is understandable why some thinks he comes across that way. Would it be consistent with what would happen? Maybe not, but listening to him makes it difficult to think he would want it any other way. The more and more I learn about him, the less I like him.
