Getting Noticed By Management
Smokin the Reefer! Busted with weed and the predictable pain killers.....RVD's WWE and ECW title reigns might be cut short due to this incident. Who thinks an incident like this should effect their professional life? RVD living up to his 4:20 image.

Of course, being ECW stars it will probably be good for their "rebel" status.

I think there going to be suspended and sent to drug rehab like Chris Masters and Joey Murcury due to the WWE new strict rules on drugs since Eddie's death.

You said Joey Mercury when did that happen is that the reason for the break up of MNM?

ah hell... Vince knew RVD still smokes. He even let him refer to "rolling a joint" back stage. Everyone knows RVD's past.

Yeah it was obvious about RVD why else would he make certain comments. I will also say that RVD is my favorite wrestler and this won't change a thing.

Yeah dude, everyone knew. I hope Sabu gets FIRED fron WWECW and RVD gets stripped of the title and sent to rehab.

Since the ECW days of Rob Van Dam marks have been demanding RVD be given the world title, and less then a month after his title win, this is how he pays those fans back.

Traveling down the road and getting caught with weed like a teenager would, and getting caught with pain killers like some old fart who should have retired years ago. This is not what rebel is, most people have used drugs to get away, now it’s just a human weakness / habit.

^I know right? He becomes the world champion, and can no longer be called the best never to hold the title, and gets caught somkin' the bong wit good ol Sabu. Nice

Well i will say this... I'm not surprised that he had vicoden. They are so damn easy to get now a days. And after the beating that he and sabu put themselves through i dont blame him for having a few vicodens. As far as the weed... I'm sure more than half the locker room STILL smokes weed!!! And that aint changing...

These wrestlers are too much...I understand, popping pills it the culture in wrestling..They're on the road 300 days a year, no off-season, it take a toll on their body..but when is it going to change? Their best friends and fellow wrestlers are falling left and right at incredibly young ages because of pain killers, roids, ect. These guys need to smarten up. Unless they just don't care that they're going to die way to young.

You know why they use the pills?Try doing what they do for as long as they do.They put their bodies on the line in and out for our entertainment and these comments are how you back them up??You sell outs should support them ,not turn at the drop of a dime!!!Your all a bunch of marks who sit their and criticize these wrestlers and never know what it's like to be in their shoes.Don't judge till you've done it.

Yes they were arrested, but if they have drugs that make them feel better after getting the shit kicked out of them every day, whats wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with it but considering the new policy in place there might be more repercussions for it. I've seen everything in the last hour from they'll get a stern talking to from there going to be gone. Even saw some speculation that it could be addressed on Raw, doubtful. Any ways all I know is they landed in some :shit:

Many casual wrestling fans don;t see this point. Wreslting so many days a year is no cake walk on the body. I boxed amature for many years. Training and fighting takes such a toll on your body. After a fight I would sit there soaked in a cold bath tub just to ease some of the pain. Keep in mind that I would fight a few times a months and sometimes even a few times every few months. Now theses guys put them selves through tables every week and not to mention the house shows. Pills I understand. And having 5 Pills on him? That isnt a lot..you take one pill every 4 hours as needed so think about it...my dentist gived me 30 pills when i get an infection. SO I dont see it as that big of a deal.

That's still no excuse. They should have been arrested. If it were me or you or anybody else on this board that got caught with them stuff on them,we would have been busted. It bothers me that there are people out there that are willing to overlook stuff like this.

YO,THEY MIGHT BE RELEASED SAYS WRESTLEZONE:

In light of the recent arrests of Robert "RVD" Szatkowski and Terry "Sabu" Brunk, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles the matter now that is has been made public. WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy clearly states that any Talent arrested for possession of drugs is subject to immediate dismissal.

13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW

Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal.

Considering that Szatkowski and Brunk are the two biggest stars on the ECW brand, it should be intriguing to see if these individuals are punished or if WWE will contradict their own drug policy by not terminating their contracts.

Oh but they were arrested...they were arested and fined...and they posted bond and are supposed to appear in court just like we would. Mary Jane is not that bad of a drug in the eyes of the law. So even if were were cought with maryjane and pills... we would be arrested and released and orded to appear in court. at least in cali. And I will say this... I understand why they do this... I dont condone it. While boxing... I only took pain pills when i broke my jaw, broke my hand and threw out my back. Most of the time I just manned up and took the pain..but then again I didnt go through tables every week so I wont look down at them.

I hate it all, so what if they smoke weed, if wwe fires them, especially RVD, i aint watchin anymore

I knew R.V.D. and always loved him as an idol. I hope he is FIRED as of today! What a role model...

Doing that shit while touring is fucking stupid and they deserve to be fired. Their life-style is no excuse, if you can’t do your job sober then find something else to do.

Where was it stated that they shouldn't have been arrested. What was implied was that people bash them for using pain pills in the first place yet forget the reason why they're in so much pain.

The mj I agree with but why get on them (at least RVD and i'm referring to us getting on them, not the cops) for PRESCRIPTION pain pills? It's amazing how many people go to forums nitpicking everything and complaining about everything and saying how these wrestlers should do this and that in the ring, then complain when they take legal medications in order to be comfortable enough to go out and do what people beg for. It's one of many examples of how fans get what they want but complain when they do. I am not condoning anything but it is strange how many people take everything they see for granted and act like they were wronged when they'd also feel wronged and complain or call a wrestler a pussy if they were unable to perform. Everything is a no win situation. Again the marajuana can't be condoned but the prescription medicine wa prescribed for a reason. If none or any of the pills were not prescription, that's different.

Nobody is forgeting why they're in pain. It still isn't an excuse.
