ROH Sold

If I were an ROH fan, I'd be EXTREMELY concerned about this deal. This is like the worst of both worlds from ECW and WCW. ECW because of ROH's demand for increased production, and WCW because the broadcasting group owns the company, and not someone who cares about it, which means it's subject to shutting down any time.

I'd be extremely concerned if I were an ROH fan, and I certainly wouldn't be celebrating.

That's what concerns me the most. If the show doesn't garner the ratings that Sinclair wants, which I don't think it will to begin with, then they can just pull the plug on the promotion and either sell it to someone who is passionate about wrestling, or, in a worst case scenario, shut the whole thing down. I don't like that Silkin sold 100 percent of the company to Sinclair for that very reason.

I'm not saying this is a saving grace for ROH. I'm just saying that this has the potential to help ROH grow. I'm not saying ROH will grow and take over TNA because of this deal, but I think it now has the potential to gain more fans. Just because it has the potential to happen doesn't mean it will, but I think it has a better chance of growing now than it did before.

I am honestly ashamed to be considered a wrestling fan right now. I hope you guys are proud of that.

Well they should be proud since most of the guys in this thread has done absolutely nothing wrong for the most part. It was a harmless debate about whether or not the breaking news about ROH is good (growth) or bad (risky, no growth) for the company. It didn't get out of hand until a few ROH marks came in and said the people who are arguing against ROH's new deal as being bad because they didn't find it good -- are "trolling"

I don't get why people, mostly all over the internet, like to use that "I'm ashamed right now" BS. Does anyone or yourself really expect people to actually care about your internet forum personal morals and standards? That facepalm squirrel can kiss my ass. Funny you say that considering you didn't mind taking your lovely time and throwing your own personal opinion such as calling another poster "a child" while subsequently most likely getting yourself into a heated argument. Let me guess, you never saw it coming? But, oh, lets take a shot at Slyfox for "getting a rise out of people" in his posts?
