Ring Ka King: Magnus, Steiner & Dutt Alligned

At the debut of RKK, Magnus, Steiner and Sonjay Dutt showed to be aligned with the intent of winning the World Championship for themselves as a group. They also seem to be answering to someone else. Presumably in the U.S. Of course, the company just kicked off. But that doesn't mean we can't speculate. This being a TNA branch, it would not surprise me if Jeff Jarrett or Eric Bischoff are the ones organizing these 3 men and leading an early takeover of the newborn promotion. Jeff Jarrett was written off for the sole purpose of working RKK. He's about as much a fan of stables as Vince Russo, so why wouldn't he try an Immortal-esque takeover?

I'm actually more interested in the dynamics of the stable rather than anything else. Steiner seems set and ready to be the stables psycho monster heel, while Dutt is looking like the weasel turncoat and Magnus the cool, steady lieutenant to the guy behind the group.

Going back to that, it's most likely Jeff Jarrett since he's been written off in TNA for the time-being and is splitting his time between RKK and AAA. I'd actually be curious to see how he does in RKK as the backer of the group rather as part of the muscle.

Is there a place to watch RKK online? Is it in english?

Anywho, I kinda like the idea of that stable. It seems like Magnus will be the breakout star of the group, and I'm a big fan of Magnus.

I haven't watched the show so I can't speculate too much, but if I had to guess, I'd say Jeff Jarrett trying to take over would make a lot of sense.

You cant watch Ring Ka King on WrestleZone! its a news post from a few days back.
Its pretty cool becuse parts are in Indian and other Parts are English.

Im liking this show so far, and this stable just adds interest. We need more time to see where they are going.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Ring Ka Ring became more successful in India than TNA is in America? Meaning that it became their main source of income? I don't know anything about India's pro wresling market, but I would imagine that it RKR stands a legitimate chance of competing with WWE there simply because it's native and not an import? As I stated in another thread, I think these famous American wrestlers were brought in just go give RKR some initial publicity and credibility. I think in a few months, they will have started to establish some "homegrown" stars that are actually from India and the fans will get behind them. Even when WWE started their ECW brand, it started out with all the traditional ECW guys but after a few months it was completely unrecognizable with all the new people. I could easily see this happening with RKR.

Ring Ka King is fucking awesome. I'm East Indian so I understood most of the promos (which were basically introductions and basic stuff, since the audience isn't as refined as North American audiences) so no big loss there if you couldn't pick up the Hindi, but there is a bit of English spliced in between.

The Indian economy created a huge middle class that's really exploiting its purchasing power. For instance, the national cricket league rivals the English soccer league in terms of wealth and value - and its only been around for like a decade. I wouldn't be surprised at all if RKK takes off, but the idea of Pay-Per-View would have to be tailored to be located at movie theaters instead of houses. Still, even with a slim viewership, they can still make huge advertising revenues.

I watched the first episode and liked it. The crowd is fun to watch but I am not sure they completely understand the concept of heel yet. I am glad I am not prone to seizures so I could enjoy the production. B-maxx looked like the requisite bodybuilder but green type that we are all too familiar with. Adonis Lock FTW. I thought the stable was pretty interesting as well. Can't wait to see Steiner go godzilla on those people and a Dutt match. Also, interested to see how they use Abyss and a Chavo match. The matches weren't much this week but I think that was probably because it was the episode where they have to introduce everyone.
