Magnus: Heavyweight Champion in RKK; Tag Team Champion in TNA

SORRY! About you damn luck!

Magnus has been on a roll for quite some time. I always enjoyed his matches and his promos are very good in my view. Both him and Douglas seemed that had everything to make it big on TNA Wrestling in the near future since their debut as British Invasion.

Right now, Brutus Magnus has become a face tag team champion with Samoa Joe, and he is doing quite well for himself. But at the same time, in India at TNA's Ring Ka King brand he is the top heel World Heavyweight Champion by beating Matt Morgan in a heelish manner, thanks to some interference but looking a legit threat to Morgan during the match. He is part of a group that is trying to take control of Ring Ka King that counts with Abyss, Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt and Scott Steiner.

So, he is at the same time a very good face and a very good heel. And TNA Wrestling seems to trust this guy a lot more than they trusted Douglas Williams and they gave him the ball and now is running with it.

What do you think of all this? Will Magnus reach the highest level on TNA Wrestling and eventually contend for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship?

Magnus has what it takes.More than alot of the current TNA roster. If they invest a bit more in him and put him in the right program he could be over as hell by the end of the year.I mean he could be TNA's version of Wade Barrett....Albeit smaller but just as good IMO.

He really started putting it together in that tag team with Desmond...

There's definitely potential there. I felt like he cut a main eventer-quality promo when they did the UK shows and the team with Joe has been great.

Magnus has a great look to him and has decent speaking ability like most brits. I want the company to continue to explore his talents, it was really awesome seeing him in the M.E last week. The best thing going for Magnus is he's still Really young at 25. He seems to be growing in confidence every time he touches a mic. He's another one of the guys who looks like they would do wonders with the T.V. title.

He is definitely one to watch in TNA. As others have said, he has the in ring skills, look, and ability on the microphone to really be successful. He could be succeed as a heel, or a babyface, depending which way TNA were to go.

Being both a TNA Tag Team Champion and RKK World Heavyweight Champion is a great opportunity for Magnus. He will continue to get exposure in TNA, in a credible tag team with someone as over as Joe, while being able to spend time in RKK really polishing his craft in the ring to make himself a stand out singles competitor back in TNA when the time comes.

My only fear is that as a TNA Tag Team Champion, in a thrown together tag team, TNA has a history of breaking them up and having them feud fairly early in the partnerships. If this were to happen with Magnus, I'd really hop he gets the babyface push, and Joe the heel, as it would really help to get him over.

He has what it takes, but he has a long long way to go before he gets to the TNA World Title.

Look at guys like Roode and Storm, made by TNA, but it took them years to get where they are now. Magnus could be heading down that same path, but it will be a while before he is World Champion.

I don't watch either program all that much (well RKK never... and TNA its been a long time...) BUT! every single time I saw this guy I knew he had what it took to be good. Real good. It says a lot about him being able to play both sides of the card. Not a lot of guys can do both so well. I do fully expect him to be pushed to the top of TNA at some point and I'm willing to bet before too long he will win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He is the TNA version of Barrett but unlike Barrett he is getting the solid footing he needs. I fully expect WWE to try to snipe this guy from TNA before too long...

I haven't seen much of Magnus as part of the British Invasion, but I like what he's doing in his teaming with Joe. From what little I've seen so far, he looks like he could have a solid run with the TV title, and possibly the Heavyweight title later on down the line. He is young and has a lot of years ahead of him. Unfortunately I haven't been able to check out Ring Ka King in the states.

I've been a fan of Magnus for some time now. The guy is amazing on the mic and has more charisma than most of TNA's roster. He is in good shape and him beating a Roode or Storm or Ray, would be very believable due to his size. At the moment he is a guy with blak trunks from the UK, so he needs to add, maybe one more small element to his personality and he is World Champion material. If Roode can be Champ, why not Magnus?
