The Handsome Devil
I was just thinking, what with the PG-13 rule and all, did right to censor finally prevail? lol. But really, could there be a right to censor group again? Could it be more successful this time around? Who could be in it? But most importantly, could they be a face stable?
I didn't have a problem with RTC really, they were a good enough group of wrestlers, not particularly talented, but not too bad, but it kind of pushed even stevie richards mic skills to the forefront (as it would with any stable leader). God only knows the mid card needs gimmicks right now, maybe an upper carder or two in on the act as well to give it the extra push.
Maybe Right to Censor is not the best way to go with a name though, but for members of the group, I was thinking along the lines of CM Punk as the leader. Turning heel, getting cocky, the whole straight edge thing going on, with maybe a couple of lower card wrestlers, but all must be non hardcore for obvious reasons. Maybe a feud with Jeff Hardy (the drugs etc.) and Cryme Tyme (the uh...crime) could work?
Or if they managed to do this as a face stable, maybe a whole 'anti drugs' group, and reformed criminal stuff would help clean up the image further. Ron Killings, MVP, both reformed criminals could really appeal to kids and their parents watching in a very cheesy way, but it could work. Really push the 'wholesome family entertainment' angle for them. What do you think tough?
