Ric Flair and his sucker/lollipop

This isnt really important but strange in fact. It seems everyweek here lately he has been coming out sucking on a sucker. Is this supposed to mean something or is he just on a sugar rush. This may not be important.

I kind of see it as him being part of immortal and fourtune and he can do what he want's because he's the nature boy.

I thought it was strange as in all the years I've never seen him eating a sucker on tv and now he is whenver you see him.


am i reading to much into it or is there a point?

This may sound a little strange, but my theory is because he gets cotton mouth like crazy when he cuts promos. If you watched a lot of hit latter WCW work from about 98 till the end you would see that he would get very cotton mouth cutting promos because he was always try to move around his mouth trying to create saliva. I will try and find some clips on you tube.

I think him and Orlando Jordan are sharing lollipops. And it'll start a storyline with him and OJ where Jordan threatens to "Out" Ric Flair. That would be hilarious.

Maybe he just likes Root Beer flavored Loly Pops. I love those things and unless I was in the ring I would have one in. He's Ric Flair, the greatest WORLD Champion in the history of the business and first true World Champion who defended the championship all over the world against anybody, he's entitled.

MB1025 might be more on the money, i wouldn't be suprised if he didn't get dry mouth, the amount of overacting and yelling he does. I know for me personally when i get angry and start ranting i start of with alot of saliva but it runs out quick.

Yeah you are reading too much into it. TNA isn't as rigid as the WWE. There are little to no 'cuffs as far as what you want to do in the ring goes. TNA gives you the storyline, it's up to you to make the best of it. No over-scripted promos, no telling you to "slow down" in the ring and all that WWE bullshit. Go out and do your thing.

That's the case with Flair I believe. It's impish to do it, it's "cool", so go out and do it. I remember HBK sucking on lollipops a lot and it didn't mean squat. He was immature and childish, so he did it.

Plus, it fits Flair's character these days. A funny, loopy, hot-headed old man.

Not trying to say anything bad but its possible that they are Fentanyl Lolipops. They have a pain medication put in them and are mostly used for little kids who are terminal and are in a lot of pain. Ric could possibly be using them for pain that he has or he could be addicted.

My best guess is he started using lollipops to quit tobacco.....He mentioned during his hall of Fame speech that he'd quit "chewing" after the match with HBK. Well, as we all have learned, nicotine can be a bitch to quit. Okay I am going to let all of you in on something, I work backstage at TNA i wont reveal who i am or what I do have a small role which ties into the current storylines. Everybody blames russo for the lack luster in the current story lines but the fact is it is now Flair,Hogan and Bischoff who run TNA and they are running it straight to the ground. They were hired by the WWE to come in and destroy TNA they have dixie jarret and russo brainwashed. I was there at the tapings of MR.ANDERSON AND KAZ ULTIMATE X MATCH and Bischoff told hardy to botch the chair shot I heard this with my own ears. I was thinking to my self WTF for? this man can't even have a decent match with AJ his brain is scrambled. NOW i keep telling these guys at work that we should Tape every thursday right before the impact show so we can have more time with the story lines but no they want to tape Mon-Wed and honestly its killing out product who wants to watch TNA when you can read whats going to happern for the month and i keep requesting clean match finishes and they tell me JARRET always requests for the match to end in a DQ or have the ref pretend he is knocked out/ confused /plays stupid Also i cant stand working with Jeff Hardy does what he wants all the time he acts like a 12 year old little sissy bitch who has to get his way plus hes always high as shit.
We are diminishing and we should be expanding and this is all a WWE conspiracy TNA can be better then WWE but Hogan,EB,Flair are running it to the ground.
Also i cant stand jarret since he stole angles wife its completly disgusting. he is trying to prove that he got over on KURT. I heard this over out of his own mouth. and to be honest "THEY" are not big on having stars from other ethnicities not at all they are trying to keep the current product white thats why hernandez is gone, sabu, monty brown, homicide and next will be samoa joe well im going to stop here before "THEY" find out i blabbed and i lose my job.

I'm bored enough to respond to this. I really don't think it has to do with any angles and it's not important. He's Ric Flair. He just happens to be enjoying a sucker onscreen. Maybe his character was bored? I think it's a coincidence and has nothing to do with any current storylines. Not even TNA would make a storyline about a sucker. No, wait.... they would. Coming on the next PPV event, it's Ric Flair VS Hulk Hogan for the SUCKER! Who will win the all-important lollipop!? Okay so you want to know why he is sucking a loo pop well my guess he charter needed a boost in his option and he thought sucking a loo pop would help re-invent his charter or he is trying to stop and addiction and needs to keep his mouth active or he might start to sweat or get activated or better yet he is in a kind off storyline with the knock out's as he is breaking them up (see Tara/Mickie brawl Flair and security broke it up) so he is trying to work with them by making himself as sexy as possible as the knock outs are.

....what exactly is "all that WWE bullshit"? WWE will always put on a better promo than TNA, more passion, more acting, more talent. Any chance to try to convince people that TNA is good.

The answer to this silly post is simple.

1. It has nothing to do with Flair trying to quit his dipping habit. Any of you ever see him chew tobacco wile cutting a promo? No, of course not. Therefore he does not suck on a lollipop to kick his habit, that's just stupid.

2. It is certainly not because he's Ric Flair and can do what he wants. That'd be totally unprofessional, but maybe TNA knows that nobody watches so it's ok.

It's because, kayfabe, Flair/Bischoff/Hogan are running TNA. They "took over" right? So Flair has the lollipop because he's in charge, kayfabe, and nobody is going to stop him, not that hard to figure out.
