Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara... Not Happening

I dont know about most of u but this was a match (despite botches) i was actually very hoping to see. Although rey mysterio is one of my favorite on the roster for his in ring skills, I dont really care if he recovers before wrestlemania anymore. Ever since i saw that video of the two of them working together on the battle royal at a house show iv wanted to see them work with each other in a match.

What are your thoughts?? Did u want to see that match and are u still hoping theres a small glimmer of chance that it might happen??

Eh, personally I really wasn't looking forward for this one.

Rey Mysterio (sorry to his fans) has been growing very stale, for me. His matches have been quite boring this year. I appreciate him, I really do, but I just couldn't feel anything exceptional in his matches anymore.

And Sin Cara... WWE rushed too much with him. He should be in development before going to television.

I wanted this to happen with a heel Rey Mysterio. Well it looks like Rey is stuck with Hunico. May not be a bad thing Hunico just might develop to being a good enough heel.

I really was looking foward to this match. I don't see it happening soon due to Sin Cara's Injury. But no one knows who hunico is. I am surprise he was even in Survivor Series. He literally got no reaction when he came out even boo's are a good sign but he got nothing.

I love the lucha libre style of wrestling (cruiserweights/X division/etc in general), but anytime I see Sin Cara all I think about is, "Hmm... What's gonna appear on botchamania?" Mysterio on the other hand... ugh... If I don't see the 619 ever again I'll be a happy man.

This is all personal opinion of course, and I'm not knocking Mysterio fans it's just that I for some reason really never cared for him from his ECW days to the present. Since he started using it, it mostly has to do with the 619 being such a stupid finisher (again, in my opinion).

Yeah, I'm sick of the 619 too. It's one of the silliest finishers in the WWE. Amazing how his opponents apparently never learn to not stay on that absurd position for what seems like an eternity while he dances around and goes for the maneuver.

Maybe they can have Rey Mysterio vs. Hunico at WM instead. I mean both are luchadores so they can still have a good match.

Hunico vs. Mysterio will probably be a more interesting feud anyways since its apparent Cara is not yet that over so a face vs. face match won't work between Mysterio/Cara. Hunico, at least, can probably be a more compelling classic heel vs. face rivalry.

I think the WWE should release Sin Cara already. He botches a lot in his matches. And yesterday he botched a move that will cost him 6-9 months of in-ring action. Not only is he error-prone but he is also fairly susceptible to injuries. I was excited to see him at first, but now...meh I couldn't care less.

I wouldn't mind seeing that match. Today I don't know if they could put on a clinic seeing Rey is getting up their in age, and hasn't been showing shades of his younger self.

When Cara gets more comfortable and makes less mistakes I would like to see him carry Rey in a match. If we couldve saw a '03 Mysterio face Sin Cara I think that couldve been really cool.

Sin Cara's career is hanging by a thread now. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he got released long before his injury is healed. Too bad, when they hyped his initial arrival I thought he might be big some day. Right now it doesn't look good. Not good at all.

I have a great deal of respect for Mysterio. He has gone above and beyond what most his size couldn't imagine. He has made it work for a long, long time. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, but I respect the guy.

Sin Cara hasn't shown me one thing. Not one. I'm not saying he isn't any good, but what has he done? He botches anything and everything, hasn't had a feud worth talking about, etc. This WrestleMania is stacking up to be an all-time great, given the names involved. There isn't room. The less matches I don't feel are totally necessary, the better.

i could not agree more with this Mysterio commands respect for early work and the length of his career, but to put him into this WM would make no sense.

from day 1 i have told everyone i know Sin Cara will be remembered for botching not the high flying. i think i am getting close to being proven right. i dont rate him, hell Hunico has shown more than him as Hunico and was a BETTER sin cara haha

Well everyone was right when they said Sin Cara was going to be replacing Mysterio... botching spots and getting injured more than once a year not to mention he's already failed a wellness test.

Maybe at WM29?

Sin Cara's injury sucks, but he's been botching almost as much as he was when he started with the WWE. When he comes back, hell if he comes back, needs to work in FCW for a bit and get polished in the ring. He's still not used to the WWE style. As for Rey, the guys matches this year haven't been anything great. Good, decent, but that's it. Also, Rey can't stay healthy for long periods of time to save his life.

The match itself, outside of the botches we'd no doubt see, would be awesome if both men could keep the speed going. Sadly outside of playing it in a video game, we may never see this match happen.

If they have Hunico play Sin Cara again then it could happen. Just take him off TV and for two months and maybe have him be a surprise entrant in the the Rumble.

Mysterio vs. Sin Cara could have been a great match. But it has lost it's luster before it even started. Injuries, botches are the main reasons. But no mistake, this is definitely a great match if they are both 100% and not botching moves. Perhaps in WWE 12?

Nt really. Never been much of a Mysterio fan and I simply don't care for Without A Face (Sin Cara in English). I did however want to see these two and my fav high fliers, Justin Gabriel and Evan Bourne, in a match together against maybe Wade Barrett, Ziggles, Shwagger, and probably Epico (Hunico). But Mysterstio vs Cara? Nah not really. Don't think it'll happen until next year's viewer's choice if they're both still here.

Rey Mysterio vs.Sin Cara

It’s gotta happen. I don’t care what anyone says. I don’t care if Sin Cara was going to leave the WWE on April 2nd, 2012 similar to the 2004 Killer Bees, Bill Lesnar and Brock Goldberg.

We didn’t get Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair at WrestleMania. We didn’t get Ultimate Warrior vs. Lex Luger at WrestleMania. We didn’t get Shawn Michaels vs. The Rock at WrestleMania. We didn’t get Stone Cold Steve vs. John Cena at WrestleMania. We didn’t get The Undertaker vs. Sting at WrestleMania. We didn’t get Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho at Wretlemania.

We can at least get Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara. Just keep him till Spring time. He can put Hunico and the Colons over before he goes…or he can stay. Have Carlito return and Back Stab Hunico out of the group. Hunico puts the Black mask back on and teams up with Sin Cara Blanco and Rey Mysterio for the newly created WWE Trios Titles.
