Rex Ryan Will Win a Superbowl!

Milkyway!

Hodor!
Wait. What? Milky, you're a damn fool. No really, you are.

There's an old saying, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." In 2011 the Denver Broncos released Josh McDaniels form his head coaching position on "Black Monday." The Patriots en route to go deep into the playoffs, and past success with Josh McDaniels hired him on the spot as a "offensive assistant."

We all know that Rex Ryan is on his way out come Monday, and that will leave him with nothing to do. Recently Ryan has given an extreme amount of praise to New England, Belichick, and Tom Brady. Belichick seems to have a mutual respect for Ryan's abilities as well. I could see the same scenario occurring in 2014.

Ryan knows the Patriots well. They see each other twice a year, and I'm certain he spends his fair amount of time in the off season trying to find holes in the Patriots schemes. The coaching staff would be Belichick, McDaniels, Patricia, and Ryan. Who could out coach them? Hint: No one.

Um, Seattle already won the SB in 2014, they did last fucking February you damn fool, the year comes to an end this coming Wednesday, unless Rex has gotten his hands on a Delorean I don't see how the fuck he wins a SB in 2014.

Did you mean 2015? If so I understand a simple typo. Ryan is a good coach but I don't see them going past New England. Their hungry and if anything the may end up winning the whole thing. I do not want to see them win, I just don't see the Patriots losing at all. Ryan is good buy Belichick has a better proven track record. I truly hope to see the Patriots lose, but we will find out come game day.

He can't win it in 2015 either, as the playoffs for the 2015 SB are starting next week, soonest Rex is going to have another shot at a SB is 2016.

I don't think Rex is going to the Pats, not even as a D-Coordinator, that would be a step back for him, & I imagine there are still teams out there willing to give him a head-coaching job.

For sure, I don't see him going either way. Who is need of a new head coach? Give home a team that's crumbling like Miami or the Bucs. Thing is, I'm not sure they're spend the money.

All incorrect years aside I don't see Belicheck wanting to bring in a guy with such a strong personality. Plus the whole Spygate thing with the Jets. I think Ryan may go in to commentary if there are no head coaching spots that work for him. A coordinator position just doesn't suit him.

Highly unlikely. First of all you're assuming New England is going to just waltz into the Super Bowl and get the Lombardi Trophy. Then again just as long as Eli Manning doesn't manage to make his way onto the other team and spoil their fun they may have a chance, but it's been quite awhile since the Patriots have been able to get the job done.

They have to get through Denver first. Cincinnati is one team I don't think will go far in the playoffs, they've lost in the wild card every time they make it. Pittsburgh is up in the air with how inconsistent they've been, and I'm watching their game right now so we don't know what's going to happen yet and who goes where.

However Baltimore is a team that scares me. If the Bengals win against Pittsburgh, they'll host Baltimore and I can see them losing in the wild card yet again, and then Baltimore is a team I think could upset New England. If Pittsburgh wins they would also be playing them for a third time. I like Pittsburgh's chances a little more than Cincinnati, but that's a game that could be very much so up in the air. I'd much rather see another Ravens-Steelers game though.

Denver is up in the air too. We know how clutch Manning is in the playoffs. I think Brady would win this time around if it's those two in the AFC Conference game.

The only other two teams I don't know about are the Steelers and Colts. Like I said we don't know what the seedings will be, if Pittsburgh wins or loses. But their defense is absolutely terrible, specifically their secondary. Their offense is one of the best in the leagues right now however, but Denver proved last year that offenses don't win Super Bowls. That whole team needs to come together if they want to make a big run. Same thing goes with Indianapolis.

With all that being said, even if New England does end up staying to the end and not regressing back to how they looked early in the season...they would never hire Rex Ryan. He's the one who ratted them out with the whole spygate thing. And besides I think Rex would rather just relax and focus on signing with another team next season.

1. Rex has said that he is not accepting a defensive coordinator job. I don't blame him, as he shouldn't need to as Atlanta, Chicago, and San Fran are all teams that he could immediately go in and make much better by making a bleh defense good.

2. The reason Josh McDaniels got hired right away is because Josh McDaniels had a long history as a Patriots assistant coach. He had a past with them and was going to have a future, so they hired him back right away.

3. All that being said, I agree completely. Rex will win a Superbowl. He's a good head coach and a savant on the defensive side of the ball. He got to 2 conference championships with below average quarterbacking. In this day in age that's incredible. His next job if he gets a head job in 2015 will have a better QB situation once he gets hired.

The only way he doesn't get a Super Bowl is if Rex goes the John Madden/Gruden route and go right to TV and stay there. Rex will be amazing on television, as his personality leads to wonderful television.
