Report: Bully Ray Already Gone From TNA Again

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
This from the main page:

According to PWInsider.com, Bully Ray is already gone from TNA Wrestling, just one week after making his return to television as the brand new on-screen authority figure. The company spent a lot of time building up the Hall of Famer’s return, with Dixie Carter herself making an appearance to name him the new authority of Impact Wrestling.

Bully was not backstage at any of this week’s TNA television tapings in Orlando, despite living in the area. His absence was noted within the locker room, and rumors started making rounds that he had left the promotion. Like many others at this point – including Austin Aries and James Storm, who did in fact work this week’s tapings – Bully was on a per-appearance deal with TNA, giving him the ability to back out whenever he wanted to.

The language is vague, as it usually is, but Bully's absence was conspicuous even from this past weeks' impact considering he's supposed to be the new "Law". Now, less than a week after he's been back on air, he's gone again, and the tapings going on right now he won't appear at? Brutal. Just brutal.

A lot of blame on TNA here. Supposedly the per-appearance was what made this so easy. By that notion, if they planned on taking Bully Ray's authority character long term, it was idiotic to make him per appearance. If the story was originally written to where he was in and out like the Flash, then that's just a head scratcher.

Hopefully Haitch has a role for him at NXT & with the E. I know TNA fans will hate that, but the end is nigh.

This falls on Dumb Ditzy Carter. it's so pathetic of a company like TNA to introduce Bully ray as an authority figure, yet he can just as quickly walk out. Hey Ditzy, get a clue. If you have a well known character and he's supposed to be used over a certain time period, then put him under contract. She truly is a ditz!

Since he isn't under contract, he couldn't really "quit", right? I am sure there is more to this.

On a side note, have you ever noticed that the majority of stories on the main page are crediting other sites. This seems to be like the Wikipedia of wrestling site....

No matter how you slice it, TNA is regressing to the point where it this keeps up, the only big star they're gonna be left with is EC3. It's a shame how far they've fallen in terms of talent leaving in so short a span. I want to be optimistic that they'll survive, but I'm not sure anymore. Whether you blame Dixie or whoever else, can they recover? I'm starting to believe that Jarrett being back is the genesis of a company merger.

How often do we see/hear individuals complaining about the tired old authority figures in wrestling? It is possible they are going with a more traditional approach and Bully is not intended to be at every show. I for one would welcome an authority figure who wasn't about dominating storylines and programing.

Because they are largely a News Feeder site. They gather info from other sources and share for the readers convenience. Then on occasion they toss in exclusives and opinion pieces.

Well the main page says his storyline angle was finished up before these tappings took place. So, Bully wasn't needed while being on a pay-per-apperance deal it makese sense for him to not be there.

Anyway, Bully wants back in WWE so let him go an do his thing. I see no loss here.

Even if this is true, what a stretch to believe it. They brought him back to put him in an on-air role they only needed him to be on-air for one week for? We're supposed to just accept this as true?

First Hernandez now this.

TNA is falling apart real quick to the point where I don't know what the future holds.

Am I the only one who finds it extremely peculiar that even though he gets very recently named to an authority figure role in TNA, he continues to do interviews and express commentary about wanted himself and Devon to be back in WWE? Now I'm not sure how recent said interviews are, but I do know that I very recently read something whereby he talks about bringing The Dudley Boys back to WWE, how it makes such great business sense, how WWE are crazy not to do it, etc., Strange comments with particular odd timing from a man just recently named to be a pivotal authority figure on TNA.

I don't find it odd that he is gone from TNA again (if indeed he actually is). I find it odd that a man who seems to so desperately want to be elsewhere, and who is so vocal about it, would be placed in the position he found himself in recently on Impact.

Not really but why look that much into. TNA is a mess right now. They are probably in their worst state of business they ever been in. To me, it is what it is. If he does not want to be there then so be it. TNA never gives logical reasoning for anything. So I will take it for what it is.

When Bully needs a pay check he will be back until then, focus on the talent that is left. The very few that are left.

As some of you call her Ditzy Carter I think It's time for her and Jeff Jarrett to bring back Ted Turner cause that is the only way they can survive and destroy wwe once again permanently! If there haven t seen the sign of struggle TNA is in they have to get Ted Turner back now or some other hugely Investor Rich tyrant to get TNA going like WCW was on its last foot before Ted Turner took WCW before like noone has ever done before! TNA if you will rise from the ashes you have to follow WCW s plan and go further than that! Bully Ray is not gone from TNA he is still under TNA !!!

They just have to say The new Commish has been taken out and it's revealed that it's EC3 that did it. So now he can do what he wants.

He made an appearance in the Royal Rumble and he was a flop. Bully Ray doesn t seem to get it as wwe is not interested in either of them. SUre you can wish and dream on being elsewhere reality is wwe will ruin their careers while TNA is doing the opposite! Look at samoa joe they will ruin him in wwe. Look what happened to Kaval ( Lowki) and Awesome Kong these are primary examples of ex TNA stars who make it nowhere

How much more of an alt could you possibly be wwesux? Do you realize that account is no longer banned?

Anyway, what is the topic? Oh yeah, Bully Ray. Yeah, this is embarrassing. The company had a direction and now it is going another way for some reason. Nothing that they can't recover from but unfortunately far from their biggest problem. A Dudley Boyz short run in WWE might be fun.

Explain to me how Bubba Ray was a flop at the Royal Rumble this year? He got one of the loudest pops of the night. So I fail to see how he was any kind of flop.

Samoa Joe I think will do pretty well in WWE. If anyone ruined his career its TNA because they didn't strike while the iron was hot. Only put the World Title on him ONCE and pretty much made him a joke the rest of the way.

Awesome Kong left because she was having a baby.

Low Ki was let go because I believe because of a bad attitude. Funny how he's gone again from TNA because they can't pay anyone.

So I fail to see how any of them made it nowhere.

And the fault is lifted off the WWE completely. Voila.

Bubba was a flop because he didn't amount to anything other than that one single cameo during the Royal Rumble. Yes, he got a pop. Scotty 2 Hotty would get a pop these days. It means nothing. WWE didn't use him correctly, they didn't see his talent - WWE fucked it up.

Low Ki wasn't let go mainly because of his bad attitude. Randy Orton trashed a hotel room, he's still there. Low Ki was used horribly by the WWE. TNA used him far better. Even in his last stint. WWE fucked it up.

Have we heard anything on Joe since his debut? What is he even doing? WWE is already fucking it up. Shocker.

Kong? KONG? You're telling us why she left, not how they fucked it up when she was there. They made her CRY in the middle of the ring surrounded by other Divas. They humanized a MONSTER that should remain a MONSTER. They were complete idiots with Kong. So ... keep your panties on ... WWE fucked it up.

WWE sucks, realize it soon.

This is all largely true aside from Bully Ray. He was brought in for a one off appearance to get a pop in the Rumble, which he got. It was not fucked up.

You could argue that WWE could have signed him as an enhancement talent for nXt or even something more and the rumour is that that was only scuppered because he is injured, which probably accounts for the nature of his latest run in TNA.

He's the #2 guy in NXT after Kevin Owens (Steen's) promotion to the main WWE roster, and they're introducing his character to the WWE audience by pairing him against a familiar name (Rhyno), while setting him up for a heel turn and feud with the NXT champion, Finn Balor (Prince Devitt).

About the only thing they've fucked up with Samoa Joe was his first NXT theme music. He's been in the WWE for what- four, six weeks? Is this 1996 again, where we're expecting people to jump right into the main event in different companies?

It is sad but TNA wouldn't have the ability to pay the wages of Bully Ray every week as they seem to be losing more money every week as more viewers switch off and main characters sudden disappear off television leaving a low quality show with poor wrestling, storylines changing weekly with all these negatives TNA has become difficult to watch. Bully Ray wants one final WWE run so wasting time on the failing impact wrestling wouldn't do him any favours.

I could have sworn that I read there were plans for WWE to bring Bully back to WWE/NXT (with Harper & Rowan using the 3D, and Bully trying to start a twitter/twittah war with them & all), but the WWE decided to nix Bully's return after he showed up on a live episode of iMPACT back in May. Yeah, he was only there as a guest referee - but Bully should have known that showing up on iMPACT in any capacity would be looked at negatively by WWE. After hearing that rumor, Bully showed up in the iMPACT Zone again - only to leave right away again? All of this seems really weird.

Since it looks like Bully's opportunity with WWE/NXT is gone (if you believe those rumors), I don't see why he doesn't just stay with TNA. If Bully's already screwed the pooch with the company he wants to be at (so it seems), why not stay on television with the competition? Maybe Bully is trying to get back into WWE's good graces, by getting himself back off of TNA TV; he could make good money on the independents as well, and that wouldn't be looked at as a "no-no" by WWE higher ups. All of these reports/rumors just seem to contradict each other. Who knows? Like I said already, if Bully's opportunity in the WWE/NXT is gone (if reports/rumors are true), then he should just stay with TNA. His girl is there as well, and I'm sure he wouldn't want Velvet to stray too far from Dudleyville. After all, when is he ever gonna find a chick that hot again?

So the point of him returning was...?

Always loved Bully/Bubba, when he was revealed as the authority figure my heart sank a litlle.

I was really hoping for a Legend, or at least someone to make me sit up and go WOW!
