This thread is for discussion of the Series that is developed from the Computer Game series Halo, Red Vs. Blue and its continuation in in Reconstruction (If this is in the wrong section please move it).

Red vs. Blue centers on the Red and Blue Teams, two groups of soldiers engaged in a civil war. Each team occupies a small base in a box canyon known as Blood Gulch. According to Simmons , one of the Red Team soldiers, each team's base exists only in response to the other team's base. Although both teams generally dislike each other and have standing orders to defeat their opponents and capture their flag, neither team's soldiers are usually motivated to fight each other- if they are otherwise, neither are efficient. Teammates have an array of eccentric personalities and often create more problems for each other than for their enemies.

that is the pretense for the first 6 seasons of Red Vs. Blue.

The current season of RvB that of Reconstruction is enjoyable and is a contiuation on from the previous seasons of RvB.

So thoughts on this great show and so on and so forth.

Red vs Blue, Reconstruction, and the show's mini-series's Out of Mind and Recovery One are absolute gold. RvB had some great, iconic lines. I mean, who could forget "My name is Michael J. Caboose and I...HATE...BABIES!!!"? Just pure gold, and the show got the most fitting conclusion-a full out battle royale.

OoM was great filler inbetween the last two (I think) seasons, and gave us a better look at the serious, action-driven scenes Rooster Teeth (the show's creators) could create. Plus, Tex was just a complete badass.

Recovery One was very good, and had a cool story. Not much to say here that I didn't say about OoM, except cut Tex and paste Agent Washington. I'm also glad they made this fit into cannon better.

Reconstruction, to me, absolutely takes the cake. They brought back arguably the better characters of the series, plus Wash, and took RvB to a new level. The series not only had all that great humor, but it also had great action and drama, plus an amazing story. I mean, Rec. covered more ground story wise in 19 episodes than RvB did in 100. Just a masterpiece of a series.

The sad thing is, that after Rec. ends (which will be today at 11 EST), there will be no RvB continuous series until next summer. Luckily, they'll be doing PSAs until then, plus other special stuff, so hopefully that'll tide us over. Overall, RvB as a whole is a truly awesome canon and series. Rec. gave us some great twists and turns and really expanded the story, and I can't wait for the follow up next year. I just hope some other faves (Tucker, Donut, maybe even Tex) come back next time.

Possible the greatest thing to come out of the internet is Red vs Blue.
The way they make the halo characters talk without moving there mouths and actually make it look there talking is nothing short of a amazing feat, you watch any other cartoon where they try to do that and it simply doesn't work. The voice acting is astounding, the voices they use for each characters personality is perfect. I have nothing bad to say about this.

As benben just said, the reconstruction series takes the cake.
the one thing that did make angry about reconstruction is that they didn't bring back Tucker! He was my favorite character! But, you can't have it all.

While I thought they should've brought back all the characters,
(except for tex for obvious reasons) at least the characters they brought back were only the funny ones, Andy really wasn't that funny IMO.

I could go on and on about this, but it's really something you have to experience for yourself.

My favorite line by the way, was the first episode of season 5 where caboose had just "givin" his blood to the baby alien, falls to the ground and says -
"Church if I die I want you to have my orange juice"
