Red Dead Redemption

I am looking to pick this up very soon, I am very excited to get my hands on it, I was a huge fan of GTA IV and I heard this is a parallel of that.

How's the online play?

Don't know, but once i have a 3 month Gold XBOX Live subscription i will be online, but from what i know there is a online free roam where you can have posses, and customise your online player. Theres online Mexican stand off's and Capture The Bag and another mode.

How's the online play?

Varies, most players have the auto aim on which means you sometimes get killed from ridiculous distances.

Free roam depends on the people you are with, 80 percent of the time everyone is just trying to kill each other, which is fine though gets a bit annoying eventually. Sometimes people team up and go hunt npc gangs together which is great fun.

Outside of free roam, there is good enough customisation with your character, and the deathmatches, capture the flag matches are all fun. As long as you dont mind that most players will be using auto aim.

Yay for auto aim :), anyway, any of you find a white stallion with a black head yet, cause its a bitch to find, i though i found one but when i found it was the wrong horse i used the semi-automatic shotgun on his head and skinned the fucker.

Well I'm currently waiting on my brother to quit being a ****e and let me borrow the game. So for the time being I'll play Gun again.

Just a tidbit, you can whistle for your horse when this happens and it'll throw the offender off. Then you can do whatever you like to them as they aren't getting away from you then.

Oh that's cool. Thanks. I only had my horse jacked like twice, as I never stopped for anyone else after that, but that is a cool tip.

I won at Liar's Dice, and i haven't finished the game yet, im taking my time so no spoiling, also how many storyline missions are there to be exact..cause i read 57.?

That sounds about right, not including the 15 stranger missions.

I think I'm going to do 1 of 3 things now.

I'm either going to start playing Multiplayer for a while, start a new game and unlock the deadly assassin outfit, and then being a guy with bad honor, or I'm going to wait till R* releases a patch, and do the bad honor in a new save with all the missions already completed.

I might just play multiplayer till that is released, then do 3rd option.

Thats right Sly, if anyone is currently in Mexico i need help find i White Stallion with with a white body and black face, its for a Stranger task so i can unlock a outfit.

Stranger task? Well usually for stranger tasks, if it doesn't show a purple question mark symbol, there would be like a purple area type circle, kinda like if you go to outfits and use track, there would be that same type of circle. Hover over the circle on the map, and it should tell your what task it's for, it'd say the name of the stranger mission, or scrap # for outfit.

I guess as such, im nearing 50 missions completed, i've done a few stranger missions, but have only unlockedt he Elegant Outfit, Poncho and Duster Coat, 3 others became diffuclt to unlock because of certain things i was trying to achieve.

Also grizzly bears pop outta nowhere.

I've unlocked a few others. I unlocked the Walton gang and Bollard twins gang outfits. I unlocked the poncho and duster coat, and the gentlemens suit and elegant suit. I also unlocked the Bandito outfit, was intending to where it often while in Mexico to fit in...but it's simply your original cowboy outfit with a sombrero on it. I also unlocked the Treasure Hunter gang outfit. There not that hard, just go to outfits in the pause menu, and select "track".

Yeh i know how to track the outfit scraps. Anyway i have 4 more missions to do at the Marston Family Farm, John is a good family man.

Its a good way to end the game by doing missions for the family farm.

Yeah, the way R* ended this game was brilliant. It was probably the perfect ending to a game like this. I'm not sure if you finished it yet, but in my opinion, it was perfect.

I'm playing Multiplayer now, and I'm very impressed with it as well. I'm getting used to the way things work, and have mostly been joining posses and fighting gang hideouts.

I just finished the game a little while ago and the ending was brilliant, Rockstar Games did a magnificant job with Red Dead Redemption. It makes me want to play it again but im going take it slower to finish it again, and im glad to hear online multiplayer is good.

Mhm. I'm probably gonna go through it again, unlock the Deadly Assassin outfit, and then play as a total douche bag, going around robbing people, and shooting the shit outta everyone. :D

At first I lol'd.....the I serious'd.

(I would have gotten a picture, but I'm on my iPod :/)

Mhm. I'm still playing Multi till they fix Mo Van Barr. I'm mostly staying in Free Roam...making posses and fighting gang hideouts, that seems to level you up faster then normal game matches.
